I don't like to say anything bad at all about our fan base. I think we have some of the best and most loyal fans in the country. But a classless remark is a classless remark.

Tee was an integral part of the team that brought us our last championship to Knoxville a mere 14 years ago. Yet people are ready to throw him under the bus at the drop of a hat because of this, of all things.

I know this is may be earth shattering for some, but Tee does a have a family and any rational person would base a cross country move around them.

Its the nature of the beast, I mean who would wanna come coach a team with the past couple years we have had with losing records to coaching changes. . stability and a few winning seasons and they all will come back. . . if you build it they will come!

Butch has a 6 year contract. Even if Butch don't last 6 years I say he is good for 4. Look at Graham he was retained. You really think lame has a secured job? New Ad at USC has wanted to can him ever since he has been at USC. If lame don't make it another year then Tee will not know if new staff has a job or not for him.

Hey he's still Tee Martin and he's still all VOL like it or not he's got more people to think about than himself these days. I'm very disappointed but not mad, glad to see that he showed some class in the way he handled the situation. Good Luck and Go VOLS !!!

If your gonna spend the time, id be more burned up/pissed off about the inept admin. that put the program where it is instead of Tee Martin and Lane Kiffin.

Might as well find the truth.

I'm not sure he made the right decision by staying at USC. I am not totally sure Kiffin will even be at USC in 2 years...

But I do believe this was Tee's one shot to be a coach at UT and will be his ONLY opportunity to coach at UT. He turned us down so I don't see us going back and offering him the job in say two years from now...and if he is I am sure the fans will be split on welcoming him here with open arms.
