I damn sure would tell him to go to hell if I saw him. Why would I be afraid to do so? Do u think he would charge me throwing haymakers? And how is it obvious what type of person I am. If this whole situation doesn't piss u off you are not a true vol fan. Dude made a mockery out of us

Knowing Tee he would probably smile and not waste his time.

I chatted with Tee and my kids got pictures with him outside Neyland 7-8 years ago. He was just roaming around tailgating.

I'll be honest, if I see him again I think I'll look at him in a different light. Still appreciative of his time on the Hill, but this stings a bit. If ever a guy with a street named after him was needed in Knoxville, it's now.

I understand being upset about it. I really hoped Tee would come back and surprised that he didnt. But when it comes down to it he is just a wr coach. And yes hes a good recruiter but USC was loading up on 4 and 5 star players and getting players out of TN way before Tee ever went to work there. Tee is a good wr coach but hes not the only good coach out there. Tee Martin and UT owe each other absolutely nothing.

When it comes down to it Tee is pussywhipped

I had an opportunity to coach baseball ( assistant ) at the high school i graduated from several years ago . I turned it down because they school I was at lost every assistant on the staff except me . The way I saw it then was the school I was at , the head coach , gave me my first opportunity to coach and since the other three assistants had moved the only right thing to do was stay in my position for the time being . Turns out I made the right move . I don't know Tee's circumstances but I am sure his heart wanted to be in Knoxville but now just wasn't the time .

"Former vol tee Martin declins offer by tn to join staff". I'm so pissed that he acted interested only to turn us down. What a $hitty thing to do to us. I hope he understands that if he ever shows up here again, many people (myself included) are going to make him feel as unwelcome as possible. Screw that guy and the pos he works for. They deserve each other.

You and your 8 likes are all idiots..

Grow up.

Butch has a 6 year contract. Even if Butch don't last 6 years I say he is good for 4. Look at Graham he was retained. You really think lame has a secured job? New Ad at USC has wanted to can him ever since he has been at USC. If lame don't make it another year then Tee will not know if new staff has a job or not for him.

I think if Tee didn't want to come here because he felt like his job was more secure than it is here, that speaks volumes to our team.

So we really didn't lose anything with him staying put then.

And here I thought people were pissed.
I am not happy ether but fans act like it is end of world. We can get a good coach but Tee would have really helped us in selling recruits to ut. Do I think he is great coach? Not yet but has potential to be for too long. He is a great recruiter but we have several on this staff.

Op has a life already. If you're expecting fans on a teams message board to not wear their emotions on their sleeves...good luck

Getting this emotional and saying that you would punch a national championship QB for not coming back to coach WR at his alma mater, suggests you take this too seriously. Good luck to you.

I would love to see you do that in front of Al or one of the others. You would end up piddling in your pants.

Really??? Man I never said I'd "punch" anyone. C'mon. You're being more dramatic than I am
