He isn't really good at that. He's confined to his schtick by the weakness of his logic and worldview. He has to attack perceived shortcomings in his enemies while excusing those same traits and actions in his heroes, so he needs his stupid schtick to try to appear sane, rational and reasonable.

Like you said, it only works on the weakest of minds, but it's all he has to work with.

For them to make that choice, I have a feeling the number of others won't qualify as an outlier.
I think that was a sentiment they shared with me but won't be sharing with a lot of their friends...and i suspect vice versa.

My kids are millenials and their focus is on kids and career, same with most all of their friends. People change when they have something to lose.

Dems today are saying you should follow the procedures you RE-established.
Pretty simple concept for the most part.

So Romney gonna support nomination. Sigh.

Apparently he's been living in a different United States the past couple decades.

Romney told reporters on Capitol Hill later Tuesday "my liberal friends have over many decades gotten very used to the idea of having a liberal court. And that's not written in the stars."

They Dems 4 years ago decided to go all in trying to oust Trump and burn down the GOP at all cost . The GOP today are now saying it’s time to pay that cost .

4yrs ago they wanted a vote because of politics. Now they don't because of politics. The only precedent is they will do anything because of politics and you'll support it because of politics

We've all tried to point out the obvious but Team Blue just can't fathom that they are no different than Team Red on this issue.
