Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has passed away

Never said there was prosperity. There’s always “ worse or worsening “ conditions if you don’t move forward . What has the left done for the black community at large ? Not what they promised to do , what they have ACTUALLY done .
They allow them to loot stores.

If people could come back and write their own epitaphs, a lot of tombstones would probably include something about wishing to have spent more time with family than the job. I worked for a really nice guy who had decided that it was time to spend less time and effort on the job and more with his family. This was during the summer, by the fall I knew something was wrong with him (and thinking brain tumor and hoping not), by Thanksgiving it was obvious and he was diagnosed with a brain tumor (glioblastoma), he died in early spring after two surgeries. I never felt the same about work afterwards.

I was the same way about the chemical company I worked for ( not just me but a few of us ) when my best friend that had an undiscovered aneurism rupture sitting across the break room table , talking to me , fall out of his chair and onto the floor . He died 3 days later . We all use to be the dependable overtime workers for them until that day and we just never felt the same about working so much after that . It was a huge wake up call for us .

It's not anti constitution. The numbers of scotus justices is set by statute. It's been 9 since the 1800s though. That's gone if the GOP does this. And rightly so. This is not court packing. This is adjusting the court to bring it in line with the American citizens.
LOL!

I kind of feel sorry for Nashville, Asheville and Charlotte since they'll be interned. Since a lot of the modern day manufacturing has been moved to the south or mexico the yankees are f'd when the next civil war takes place. This reminds me, I need to buy some more guns and ammo so my grandkids have the needed firepower.

I think I'm about to go shopping soon myself.

I said I was going to have a moratorium on talking about RGB's SCOTUS replacement but all this got me to thinking.

I wonder what Clarence Thomas privately thinks of Joe Biden?
Probably thinks that Biden is a racist POS for the way Biden treated the Thomas SC nomination when Biden was the head of Senate Judiciary, and in charge of proceedings.

Collins in Maine and McSally in Arizona are toast no matter what, so they might as well go ahead and vote to confirm... a loss is a loss. Corey Gardner in Colorado stands the most to lose if Trump and McConnell do go forward with a vote before the election. He has a chance against Hickenlooper, but there is no way he wants to defend this vote before the election.

Puts them in sort of truth will set make you free position. What better way to wave bye to ME and AZ than with a big FU? Elections have consequences, and ME has a particularly screwed up system for electing senators. Since the GOP has been unable to have it revert back to something sane like the majority of the states, why not do some damage on the way out?

F*** work!

I think it’s commonly known that if no nominee receives 270 electoral votes that it falls to the House of Representatives to elect the President.

However I suspect that many would be surprised by the outcome, based on the fact that the Democrats control the House with numbers.

During a contingent election, each House state delegation casts one en bloc vote to determine the president, rather than a vote for each representative. Senators instead cast votes individually for vice president.
