Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has passed away

I eat lunch every month with people I used to work with and I'm amazed that half of them want to work after they retired. Why retire and come back to the same company to endure the same **** you put up with for decades? I don't get it.
I would rather get up, and face a root canal and a colonoscopy every day.

Is Tulsa burning now? I haven't heard that yet.
Weren’t there a whole bunch of “tough republicans” who tweeted crying about not being able to get in to the convention? Lol. I love the idiotic “republicans are tough” macho ********. Newsflash - they’re pussies.

Lulz, is that what you derived from my post - clutched pearls?

As I pointed out out in the marijuana thread, you seem to find your way to the wrong side of every argument. It must be tiresome for the people who know you IRL.
Weird. I have yet to see you present any argument of note. And logic and reason and law have shown me to usually be absolutely proven correct so... sorry lol

What the left did to Kavanaugh? That is showing a one dimensional perspective. What about what the right did to Garland? Garland didn't even get a vote... but she wants to talk about Kavanaugh? Jeez.

Yeah clearly it’s the same thing right? Garland faced nothing compared to Kavanaugh. Stop making the 2 situation ms comparable.

Where does it say that a sitting President can't nominate someone for the Supreme Court when there is a vacancy and 10 months left in their term? In March of 2016, Obama wasn't even a "lame duck" in the truest sense. A lame duck is what you have after a successor has been either elected or named, in between the time that successor takes office. Obama wasn't really a lame duck until November.

I'll agree with you on that. Imagine giving up on a football season because there's recruiting to be done for next year. Just because it's time to make another set of political silly season choices, it doesn't mean we should abdicate the current ongoing nonsense in DC. Then again three years and and a vacuum in DC might not be altogether bad either.

I don't think they have enough votes in the Senate. Maybe Pence can break the tie.
