Justin Worley - Gatorade player of the year

He also didn't have a coach until CBJ got here......there is that too.

Four years under a good coach can make a world of difference. Hell, a singular offensive scheme for four years would have helped a lot.

True that we have a coach now but CBJ could not make him fit his offensive scheme in 100 years so I guess he would have been better off at BAMA where they have a good coach and "Pro-Style" offense with all 5* Offensive Linemen.

He could have tailored the offense to fit Worley's skillset. There was no way to tell how ready Joshua Dobbs was considering he practiced like _____ spring-summer. I do blame much of it on the previous coaching staff, if you could label them as such, but to talk about the kid as if he doesn't have the talent on a division one level is absurd.

Designed runs for Worley in SEC play = 0. Quick passes and a lot of WR screens is what CBJ did to help him and even then he did not show that he could throw it on target. What more could CBJ have done to showcase his passing abilities?

Pure speculation. I'm not going to say you're wrong, because you may not be, but it's speculation. Worley was playing pretty well last year prior to getting hurt....but he had a line. This year he had a line that was not playing well in front of him.

To look at it more accuratley, we would have to go back to the full four years (If CBJ had been here the whole time) and factor in the offensve linemen that would have been recruited as well. Also we would have to account for the fact that IF (he may or may not have) CBJ had recruited Worley, he would have found a way to work the scheme around him.

Not bashing our opinion. I just don't agree with it.

Derek Dooley should apologize to Justin Worley for being such a terrible head coach. Worley deserved a better opportunity to succeed.

I'm full of speculation or something else. Thanks for allowing me to express my opinion. Truth is that no one know if he can compete at a high level given this OL. I had all the faith in him to begin the season and it certainly took it's toll on him mentally and physically. He is of the highest character people to ever wear Tennessee orange.

Give me Justin Worley over Tyler Bray 100 times out of a 100.

Wrong... I like them both.... and appreciate what Worley has gone through and done... but give me bray everyday, all day, that's if you wanna win football games.. Worley's skills don't even come close to brays. Bray just needed to spend some time in the film room.

Quite the ironic post considering Bray didn't really beat anyone while he was here.. just sayin.

Tyler was clearly much better. Picking Worley because he was a great person and tough is ridiculous. Give me the better player 10/10.

To the argument of who won more is irrelevant. Who is the better player? Give me him.

No disrespect to Justin, but he just wasn't very good. Tough, great leader, etc. just a terribly inefficient QB

Again, thanks to Mick for bastardizing the entire point of my OP. I simply wanted to thank Justin for his heart and service to UT. I never meant to indict his playing ability.

Some people on this board just can't help themselves. SMDH.

Oh I agree with thanking Justin for his time here. Great person and he have his all. How well he is doesn't even have to come up in saying that. I truly believe he gave 110% every time he stepped on the field and that's all you can ask
