Unless you tell everyone how little you care, how will they ever know?

What they really mean is "I don't approve but I am gonna tell everyone in a passive aggressive way to save face by saying I don't care."

Who cares?

But at least it will create an endless news story about a 7th round pick that wont make a team.

Who cares? Probably homosexual kids playing high school sports who don't think they can come out would be my guess. Hell we have a huge segment of the population that think homosexuals shouldn't be allowed to marry one another. Those kids care.

Whatever dude, homosexuals are celebrated in the streets on a daily basis, their storys are blasted all over the news, even if they suck at the sport they play. They are literally held as heros. Save the scared to come out crap for someone else.

Poor wording of my intentions. My thoughts are, why must we know and perhaps he's recruiting.

Don't flatter yourself, no one thinks you must know. His intended audience isn't you, it's generally gay athletes who are afraid to come out.

If you see this and think it's a recruiting effort for K-State to get all the gay players, again, that's very revealing.

What's "revealing" is your innate ability to read this guy's inner most feelings and intentions.

I gave a choice, YOU didn't.

Your "choice" was the equivalent of:

"Julio Jones declared for the draft. It COULD be because he's a great player that belongs in the pros, or it could be because he has a secret family in Jamaica that needs money. Idk man, looking pretty 50-50 to me, we don't know his intentions..."

The simplest answer is often the right one. You're welcome to live with a tinfoil hat on your head, it just looks silly to the rest of us
