your completely right. why are people calling it Karma?
Because people like to construct myths that help them explain a complicated world. There isn't some mystical force (well, at least no evidence for one) that "balances out" good and bad events and makes sure people pay for bad things they do.
But whatever "karma" actually is, that isn't even what happened to Kiffin. Like I said, if you have a behavior pattern of running a shady operation, treating people like ****, lying, having no integrity, and are generally a bad football coach, things like this are going to happen to you. If you can't be trusted, how are you going to have good relationships with people? It's common sense.
Common sense is not so common.
I'm a contractor, with 1 house on the market. 2 bidders, why would I not take the best offer, and not the first.
His karma was his motorcycle wreck where his wife and family found out what a douchebag he is. You think money is gonna make them forget about the crap he did?Actually, you can throw out everything in that list except "bad football coach" as to the reasons he got fired.
Kiffin could be a liar, manipulator, douchebag, etc. but if he was winning he'd still be there. You can be a "bad guy" and still keep your job if you're successful.
For instance, Petrino wasn't fired because he cheated on his wife, lied to his AD about the motorcycle wreck, or was generally a scumbag. It was because he broke all sorts of university regulations about Dorrell's hiring and opened the school up to a sexual harassment suit if he was retained. Where's his "karma?" After what he did to Louisville, the Falcons, and Arkansas, he's still a HC making almost $1M/year.

Make no mistake about it - if he didn't put the university in such a compromised legal position, he'd still be there.

Depending on your morals and your convictions, you might.
Say the highest bidder was a convicted child molester that got out of jail, but gave you the highest bid for the house you are selling. Would you take it?
Coincidentally, the house sit across the street from an elementary school.
So do you take the highest bid knowing full well the purchaser has a past, or do you take the lower bid and sleep well at night?
