For every person who believes in a religion and its teachings, there's another who doesn't. Some believe in karma; others, a burning bush. Personally, I like the idea that good comes back to you.

I know what Karma mean, but why do people believe it? no one believes in the tooth fairy, or santa clause. some people do belive in astrological signs.

The same reason people believe in God. They want to.

I'm still not sure about the Easter bunny though.

I've seen plenty of good people have bad things happen to them, and plenty of bad people have nothing happen to them.

Matthew 5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Is that one of the kids on South Park?

If I remember my religion 101 class at UT correctly, maksha is the ultimate goal of builiding karma through your lifetimes...it's a release from the wheel of life into nirvana or whatever. People forget that karma in the literal sense is a deeply religious term. Some Indian people will give up all earthly possessions to build up karma for the next life. And here we are talking football. pssh.
