lol.....There are many reasons why metro areas lean left. Free stuff isn't one of them. If that were the deciding factor, Appalachia would be a liberal hot bed. Look at the states that receive the most federal assistance as a percentage of what they pay in. They're RED. You can do the same with towns, cities, and counties. Your "reality" is based on misinformation and ignorance.

I thought I'd seen the bottom of depravity from American politics and was promptly reminded that I too could be breathtakingly wrong.

The treatment of Kav by the powerful leaders on the left by weaponizing 37 years of unverifiable accusations is simply wretched. ANY blowback by the right should be swift and deserved.

This isn't the forum for an abortion debate, but this type of language makes me want to vomit.

To be clear, I'm not an advocate of abortion. I wouldn't ever personally consider it outside of rape (in which case I'd instead recommend early D&C) or unavoidable risk to the mother (which is very rare). I also think it's too often used as birth control in our society. That said, I will always contend that woman's rights, whether or not I morally agree with her decision, outweigh those of an unborn child. I'm an advocate for counseling pregnant women to encourage carrying to term, with or without post-delivery adoption, over abortion. The vast majority of Americans are not in favor of full blown repeal of RvW.
