I’m glad you brought this up. No way should the tiny states of the northeast have the same senators as larger, real, states. There’s no way Delaware, NJ, NYC, Connecticut and Rhode Island should be separate states with a total of 10 senators. It should be one state with two. Just take NYC from NY and put it in there.

NH and Vermont shouldn’t be separate states. Add them to Maine with Massachusetts. That’s another eight senators that should just be two.

Imagine that , it was almost like they knew one day a dirty underhanded party would devote themselves to trying to do what they had feared . Our republic was designed with extreme logic and incredible foresight. Our forefathers saw the danger to liberty of a democracy.... a simple majority trampling the god given rights of the minority. So they gave us a republic.

They also gave us an amendment process to change anything that has “no merit” centuries later.

All I’ve heard is how much more Hillary won the popular vote by, ok if you have more people voting Ds than Rs you should tell them to spread out more and stop bunching up in those great cities and states .
