Kavanaugh Confirmation

Creepy porn lawyer taking a play from Trumps playbook. Make SCOTUS appointments your platform. And if you can’t get SCOTUS appointments just overload the court with more Judges!

Wait ...he wants Trump to possibly nominate 3 more judges to the SC . Man this process has really changed him hasn’t it . 😂

lol.....There are many reasons why metro areas lean left. Free stuff isn't one of them. If that were the deciding factor, Appalachia would be a liberal hot bed. Look at the states that receive the most federal assistance as a percentage of what they pay in. They're RED. You can do the same with towns, cities, and counties. Your "reality" is based on misinformation and ignorance.

Look a little deeper. Look who controls the counties that receive the most”help”.

I’d prefer you tell me what I asked before , what’s your plan beside complaining that everything done is wrong .Nothing wrong with wanting better just curious as to how you would fix it .

I’ve stated already I don’t have an answer but if you allow the senate and president to select the court you’ll never get a court that does what they’re supposed to do

Because why would either vote or nominate someone who would limit their own power

One can believe that Trump is human trash (he is) while simultaneously believing he's accomplished some pretty great things. This SCOTUS nomination debacle is not even a thinly transparent screw job. I thought I'd seen the bottom of depravity from American politics and was promptly reminded that I too could be breathtakingly wrong.

The treatment of Kav by the powerful leaders on the left by weaponizing 37 years of unverifiable accusations is simply wretched. ANY blowback by the right should be swift and deserved.
Who are you and what did you do with Sep?

But seriously, I agree. Trump is trash but he keeps getting things done.

You didn't answer my question as to whether gov't enforces a moral belief system. Is it you argument that the gov't does not enforce a moral belief system?

I'm surprised that you are a doctor and claim that the beginning of life is not a scientific question. EVERY doctor that I have ever spoken to on the subject (many) have said that it is an individual, genetically human life when it develops its own heartbeat. I've read federal court testimony on the subject by Drs who classified it as such.
The government sets up a system of expectations of its citizens, some of which are moral behaviors. I wouldn't necessarily call it a belief system, though you could fault me for splitting hairs there.

As to the question of human life, you mentioned heart beat. Is that the definition? What about conception? It takes a few weeks for the heartbeat. Is a heartbeat sufficient, though? We aren't far away from being able to biologically engineer organs. If a heart is created in a lab and a beat generated, is that a human life? Their are opinions, yes, but the question is far from answered.

As to my beliefs, I've not described them here. You've assumed, based on what I've laid out. I have my own thoughts on when life begins and on the mortality of abortion. I've said I'm not an advocate for abortion, and I've also explained that I'm for respecting the rights of individuals to choose. I don't think my morality or that of another should infringe upon that.

Similarly, I'm for religious freedom. It's possible to hold one belief while respecting another.
