No,I was able to provide excellent health insurance for my employees throughout the Bush years. It wasn't until Obama care passed that premiums quadrupled for less coverage. It's obvious you haven't experienced trying to get insured through Obama care. There's zero way to spin it other than a failed attempt redistribute wealth through socialism, a normal democrat agenda. You must have slept through the Bush Admin, when Republicans and Democrats alike were bitching about health care cost. Now you have a boogeyman to try to blame it on. Typical of the Republican party and they still havent done sh!t to lower costs.
Bull. If you had such great healthcare there is no reason to even have experience trying to get insured through obamacare. Which state were you trying to get this Obamacare? No,I was able to provide excellent health insurance for my employees throughout the Bush years. If you were a young single man your premiums increased dramatically due to changes in the compression ratios and gender realignments. Lots of small businesses with majority male employees could no longer provide affordable coverage.Bull. You absolutely know nothing about what you are talking about. Blue Cross Blue Shield pulled out of Tennessee as a result of Obama care. When I went to find another carrier they just laughed.Bull. Another way of saying that is............Dems pass ****** legislation but it’s the Rs fault because they didn’t fix it?
1. the republicans didn't even know what was in the bill. Remember you have to pass it to see whats in it?How has U.S. spending on healthcare changed over time? - Peterson-Kaiser Health System Tracker
Lots of good info. Health care was spiraling out of control in unsustainable ways long before Obama. There were many trends that were at least partially corrected under Obama. Had the repubs. not been intent on politicizing, demonizing, and ruining Obamacare; but instead constructively worked to help, we wouldn't be in the position we are today. Talk about kicking the can down the road. Repubs. proved they do not have the backbone nor the ideas needed to address the health care issue.
Americans politics for at least the last ~20 years (as long as I have been paying attention). what you described is not a Republican issue. its not a Democrat issue either. its the two party issue.Another way of saying that is............
Dems. attempted to address a critical national issue that was widely recognized as spiraling out of control and instead of attempting to help, the only action from repubs. was a calculated attempt to politicize, demonize, and destroy. And then when they finally had their moment in the sun when they controlled absolutely everything......they came up with zilch.
Didn't Dems have filibuster-proof majorities when ACA was passed? They could have written and passed any bill they wanted. If any Dems are upset about it because it is watered down, doesn't address XYZ, etc., they only have themselves to blame. Obama himself advocated universal single payer, then public option during the campaign, then signed a bill with neither into law. The bill that was actually passed was an idea floated by Republicans and the Heritage Foundation in the early 90s.Another way of saying that is............

Bull shat. You democomunist passed a bill that crushed our medical insurance system. Obama knew once the Genie was out of the bottle it couldn't be put back in. It was the first step toward socialized medicine. Obama and the dems knew this. Those issues could have been addressed with any semblance of a republican backbone.
I love how the dems pass a bill and then when it tanks they blame it on the republicans.1. the republicans didn't even know what was in the bill. Remember you have to pass it to see whats in it?
2. It increased costs. apparently the cure for high health care costs was to take action to ensure that costs went even higher?
and actually the study explains why things are holding as is.spending GROWTH has SLOWED. not declined, not steadied out, slowed. and not even slowed to pre-ACA levels.
Health spending as a share of the economy often increases during economic downturns and remains relatively stable during expansionary periods.
@luthervolFrom 1980 to 2008, per capital national health expenditures grew faster than the Personal Consumption Expenditure Price Index (inflation). Starting in 2008, health spending growth slowed to a similar rate as inflation and remained relatively stable at about 3 percent growth per year. In 2014 and 2015, health spending began to grow more rapidly with the Affordable Care Act’s coverage expansion, but slowed once again in 2016 and 2017.

And lie about keeping your plan and your doctor. They attempted to fix one problem while making another problem way worse. Yay dims. We’ll get people to buy insurance that don’t need it, make it unaffordable for some that was paying, and still tax them a good chunk if they they don’t wanna pay for someone’s welfare.
In other words... the marketplace became a mess as predicted but it's not your fault because at least you had a bad idea..Another way of saying that is............
