Kavanaugh Confirmation

lol.... check out the bolded in the above quotes.
I was responding specifically to what LouderVol posted. I even used his exact words "what we should want". Odd you didn't attack him (not really).
I think what we are witnessing and of what everyone should take note is your unhealthily obsessive desire to frame my post in a way (at least in your mind) that allows you to go off on some bizarre and irrelevant tangent in your never ending attempt to attack me for the whole board to see. Hint: they don't really care that much. Take your defeats and move on and hope to win one occasionally. Maybe even learn something along the way.
Concrete, 2-d, can't see the forest for the trees.
you are making a false comparison to what I was saying in my statement, and what you are saying in yours, and trying to defend it based on copying my word choice?

I was comparing before and after ACA implementation. you are adding a different metric of when Obama was president. When he was president is irrelevant to my point.

Go back and check your dates. ACA was signed into law March 2010. The study I linked showed positive trends 3 years past March of 2010. My point was that the negative impact of the 2010 election of a republican congress was the demise of ACA. 2010 and beyond are the years we are both referencing.

The demise of ACA is sqarely placed on a flawed concept of government subsidized health care and flawed implementation. The roll out of ACA was a classic example of government trying to run a business. What a friggin' joke that was, or did you conveniently forget that?

Hm.You see no difference between a person on a website debating to make recommendations about what we should want, and what you and i referenced that the dems actually did, which was to lie to Congress, the supreme court and the American people to enforce an unconstitutional law.

I think that's the important part of my argument that you didn't include. Remember how often i remind you that we pay more attention to what you ignore than what you respond to? And remember how i told you and everyone else beforehand that you lie, equivocate, lie more, ignore, distract and project? And remember when I said that you try to speak "rational" yet prove it's a foreign language? Well, your entire response was a category fallacy.

My "defeats", huh?

Yah. You do you perfectly, Soupy. I think I can live with them.
Remember how I often remind you that you make absolutely no sense?
Remember how I constantly remind you and everyone else on the board that you create and then rabidly cling to irrelevant and nonsensical tangents?
Remember how frequently I have pointed out your bizarre and frightening obsession with me?
Remember how you have been shown repeatedly to be void of depth and to exist entirely in a concrete world of black and white?
I have consciously refrained from calling you a liar, but sense you continually fail to extend the same courtesy.....you're an habitual liar.
The highlighted part of your post is just one of many examples proving of all of my points above.

You're never going to change anything the magnitude of health care without mistakes and flaws that need correcting. Healthcare is headed to an inevitable destination. I think we all know that.

You need to pass it to know what's in it.

Suckers!

FACT CHECK: Did Nancy Pelosi Say Obamacare Must be Passed to 'Find Out What Is in It'?

As you can see, it’s true that Pelosi did utter these words: “We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it”. However, the article leaves out important context, including the next few words:
We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it, away from the fog of the controversy.
Like much reporting and commentary surrounding that remark over the past seven years, the Chicks on the Right article also leaves out the remarks made by Pelosi in the lead-up to the now-infamous soundbite.

Although the point is not made clearly or explicitly, it appears that the sense of Pelosi’s remarks was that the benefits (in her view) of the bill – rather than the contents of the bill – would only be fully revealed to the public after it was passed and implemented.

Morons!

No one knows exactly how many people got notices, because the health insurance market is largely private and highly fragmented. Analysts estimated the number at about 4 million, out of a total insured population of about 262 million.
That was less than 2 percent, but there was no shortage of powerful anecdotes about canceled coverage.

He should have said, "If you like your plan, more than 98% of you will be able to keep your plan".

I guess those 4 million are just collateral damage by the government. (assuming that number is correct).

Luther literally grasping at straws on Obamacare. Have fun dying on that hill.

I'm not dying on any hill. Obamacare is pretty much dead and buried. That doesn't change the inevitable, it just prolongs the journey and increases the net suffering along the way.

"I will sign a universal health care bill into law by the end of my first term as president that will cover every American and cut the cost of a typical family's premium by up to $2,500 a year."

60% of Americans didn't even want freaking Obamacare so spare me the "we had to save the US healthcare speech". So dumb
You're spared. Accept the inevitable.

And a 2009 article by the Kaiser Family Foundation, a widely recognized authority on health care, said polls as far back as the 1930s show Americans have generally supported "the goals of guaranteed access to health care and health insurance for all, as well as a government role in health financing."

If only......he was a man before his time.

.....but not to far ahead of his time.

Soupy isn't a master of spin. Obama? Yah. Soupy Luther? Not even close.
Soupy Luther's spin is actually more of a spiral, which brings in that elusive 3rd dimension thereby moving it beyond Orange Concrete's ability to perceive, let alone understand.

Orange Concrete has a ring to it, but I may prefer 2d-OC. Maybe a poll thread?

Your posts spiraling. I think you're finally on to something, Soupy.

Sure as long as everyone pays the same.
