Nope, as pointed out the other day, the tradition is Sr day on Sunday, allowing families to more easily travel. Have to go back yrs to find a Sr Day not on Sunday. Those Sundays have just happened to be the last home games the last few yrs. Also, as KJH has pointed out over and over, Sr Day has changed since no final decisions have been made. But WTH, you knew that.Tradition is to have SR day on the last game too, but WTH you knew that.
We always have recruiting or lack of quality wins to talk about until the tournament.Nope, as pointed out the other day, the tradition is Sr day on Sunday, allowing families to more easily travel. I'll be glad when you guys have something else to ride after tonight, bc this Sr Day crap is really a comical reach.
Only thing that helps TN is a win, that would be the bright and shiny. Don’t think you were going that way though. A loss only goes moral victory or more fans realizing how far we are from the Top. Both are dull.Depends on the margin tonight. Everyone likes the new toy, depending on how bright and shiny it is.
False to say that only a win helps this team. A win would be great but let’s not act like a competitive and close lose wouldnt also give this team confidence (in which can go a long way with a team like us) and show that they can compete with anyone. I still stand on what i’ve been saying to you, being negative all the time has to get exhausting for you. You’re the exact same way on the softball forum. Go outside, touch some grass. No, senior day has always been the last regular season home game whether it falls on a Sunday or Thursday... until the last home game happened to be against the #1 team.
If you want to carry the water for Kellie on this one it's fine, but at least be factually accurate...
To say I’m negative, please advise me where what I’m stating is wrong? I call it being honest, which others know to be true but hold out hope. But my honesty in your view negativity causes me no energy, as I don’t have to convince/spin the reality of where the program is today.
So you accept losing. Not me, this is where we are different. “Only a win” comes from in year 4, it’s time to start winning benchmark games. Get caught up all in NET and any other system … win or lose is what you get judged by. Accepting a lose by those you’re chasing is “ignorance of reality”To say that "only a win will help" just displays ignorance of reality.
Either a close win or a close loss will move us up in the NET.
That is a good thing, for those arriving late to the concept.
My bad, didn't do my own research. I took the word of someone who posted in response to one of the dozens of times you guys have picked this particular nit. What year is the above?Honesty should never be confused
Harris, the Lady Vols only four-year senior, and Brown, a graduate transfer who had to recover from an ACL injury, will be honored Thursday at Thompson-Boling Arena on Senior Night, the final home game of the season. Tipoff against Ole Miss is set for tipoff at 7 p.m. (SEC+). The presentations for the seniors with their families will begin at 6:40 p.m. @glv98
Again I ask, bc no one can ever answer, what exactly does your noble non-acceptance look like? Strongly worded yet snarky internet posts? Go paint' Fire Kellie' on the campus rock?So you accept losing. Not me, this is where we are different. “Only a win” comes from in year 4, it’s time to start winning benchmark games. I just don't have any illusion that whether I "accept" or "don't accept" any game matters to anyone in any way, most of all the AD. You act like by "accepting" we're somehow undermining the program. Should I refuse to renew my tix so the LV's don't slide into mediocrity?
I'm a simple guy and long ago had to compartmentalize this season. So yeah, not getting creamed on national tv again would be nice. Hope I'm not doing permanent damage to the program.
Thanks for the good wishes. But I'm still confused what happens next for you? Where does not accepting in the big picture lead you? Not following? Not posting? I'm just curious in case tonight is so bad I decide not to accept!Simple is a nice way to be. The year above was 2020, Maria wrote the article. In regards to “noble non-acceptance look like”… not accepting mediocrity in the big picture. So, spend your own money as needed. Enjoying your own time as you see fit shouldn’t be for others to decide.
keeps me here as fan not accepting mediocrity by this staff. Remember, simple. Thanks for the good wishes. But I'm still confused what happens next for you?
