how did i completely miss this???

i knew about the supposed fight, and then i heard that rumors say chievous went to the hospital but i thought that was just completely a rumor.

it would explain why chievous hasnt been on the bench or behind the bench, at home or on the road.

i mean it could very well be true, it doesnt seem that far off from the rumor going aroudn just curious where this confirmation was that he seemed to have heard.

i was curious how i could have misseed it, or our whole fan base for that matter.

Ok, I thought it was Stokes too, or at least that was the rumor floating around here. Then Kenny is suspended, and, aww heck, I don't know.

Nope, this is 100% verified. Can't release sources, but Cheivous suffered a fractured jaw and a broken nose. Has been suspended and most likely will not return to the team.

For those speculating, there's your free scholarship for 2012 though.

I'm assuming you're being serious. If so, I don't really know how I feel about it. Never was impressed with chievous accolades but then again who knows.

Any details on what caused the fight? Must have solely been chievous instigating since stokes received no punishment?

No confirmation like I heard re: the injuries, but heard rumors it was during a physical practice. Upperclassmen were egging the young guys on to "be physical". Cheivous was guarding Stokes, things got physical, an argument ensued, and Cheivous initiated the physical contact.

Stokes, predictably, Kimbo Slice'd him.
