I agree that UK has some of the most supportive and excited fans, not going to lie but I promise Duke, UNC, and Kansas is right up there with you. Ya see all those kids camping out to watch Duke play Wake Forrest or the University of Suck and say...."well their gym sets about 300 people and UK fans camp out too" but I guarentee if UK / Duke / UNC all had the same size arenas, the attendance wouldn't be that different and they travel just as well.

I hate all three so don't get me wrong but it's silly to think that other schools aren't as die hard as UK fans.

The Sacramento Kings put a poll up on their website, asking if they had a "Legends Game", who the fans would most likely want to see play. Now, Sacramento isn't in Kentucky, obviously. There were 5 players, most having played at tradition rich programs. Tony Delk was an option, and garnered 86% of the vote with thousands of votes, while no other player got over 1000 votes.

In an ESPN poll of which day was more important, "Selection Sunday" or the "superbowl", guess which state stood alone in choosing Selection Sunday? You guessed it.

Name another program who has 20,000 plus camp out for 4 days to receive tickets to the first practice.

Name another program who will send the entire state population to Hawaii for a pre-season tourney in a high school gym.

The overall point is, UK's die hard fans aren't any more "true" than another programs, they are all equal. EVERY program has it's fans. But in the end, the UK program has MORE of these fans, plain and simple.
