Yeah, I'm sure they packed the place when Tubby brought his marginal teams and Billy Clyde brought his "great" teams. Right?
No, it won't be this packed next time because not many SEC fans care about hoops. It's early in the season before the team's will has been broken. If this game would've been at the end of Feb, it wouldn't have been packed.
Tar Heel fans are laughing at you. That's why everyone else laughs at you too.
You'd think you would have as many titles as UCLA with that arrogance. Alas, it gets you nothing but a snake oil salesman with a bagman and a bunch of one and dones.
Tar Heel fans??? Cat fans swamped them in a head to head last March. Where do you get this? And the Dean Dome may just be the quietest place in Div-1 basketball. They arent even loud when Duke comes to town. Watch a few games and see if you see ANY people standing up.
And where do you get this arrogance thing? All my facts are based off things I've seen and stats. Auburn was a full house tonight, how is stating that being arrogant?
As for one and dones.....who cares? They win, isnt that why they play? Its obvious you hate UK, which is completely understandable, but some of your points are so off its not even worth debating. Have a drink and quit making things up.![]()
I'm LMAO at you having a fan off against UNC fans. Yeah, they have no fans and zero tradition. That's why they've won some titles since your last one. All those fans have gotten you so many titles lately.
Obviously, you don't even read what your own fans post. Rupp is filled with blue hairs that sit on their butt for most of the game. Again, your delusion is comical.
At least you admit you don't give a damn that Cal is running nothing but a minor league NBA team. To hell with actually getting a college education. LMAO. Typical, retarded statement by a fan boy.
Who said UNC has no fans and zero tradition? I dont think I even mentioned tradition. I said that UK fans swamped them in a head to head meeting, where do you come up with this other stuff? Are you female by chance? Talk about jumping to conclusions..
Rupp Arens crowd: Yes, I'm the one that complains about it. Lots of blue hairs in the lower arena make it very quiet when they play cupcakes, but when an average or big team comes in Rupp is one of the craziest places to play. Its the 2nd largest college arena and packed every game. UNC is quiet every game, I've been and witnessed it first hand.
Cal running a NBA team: Jealousy is your middle name, isnt it? Winning games requires talent, and talent doesnt stick around 4 years these days. Who cares what they do in the classroom? If I knew I was going to get 10 mill in 2 years I wouldnt be busting my balls to make the deans list either. But you would, right?
You didn't have to say it you moron you were implying it. Just like you're trying to say that the Dean Dome is never loud. Yeah, those UNC/Duke games are just like prayer time! What a damn fool.
Like I said, you're the typical catsmenopause delusional moron that thinks everything revolves around Ky. You get your sense of self worth by following a bunch of players who you don't even know and yet you beat your chest like you know them personally.
Jealous? LOL. No, I'd rather pour acid in my eyes than take the hook, line and sinker that you swallowed. Yes, Cal does run a minor league NBA team and you're the typical hilljack that could care less if any of the players get an education. All you care about is living vicariously through people you don't know to make you feel better.
It'll be comical to watch the meltdown when Cal leaves Ky just like he left Memphis. Everyone thinks he really cares about the university. He doesn't care about anyone but himself, but you're too damn ignorant and delusional to even figure that out.
Dumbest post ever
I hate all three so don't get me wrong but it's silly to think that other schools aren't as die hard as UK fans.
As you know, I don't join in on the trolling and support that kind of nonsense. Every program has die hard fans, especially all of the blue bloods. They are all equal, and love their program the same. Here is the difference though, IMO, which Smails is somewhat trying to get at but can't seem to verbalize it in a manner that makes sense.
The Sacramento Kings put a poll up on their website, asking if they had a "Legends Game", who the fans would most likely want to see play. Now, Sacramento isn't in Kentucky, obviously. There were 5 players, most having played at tradition rich programs. Tony Delk was an option, and garnered 86% of the vote with thousands of votes, while no other player got over 1000 votes.
In an ESPN poll of which day was more important, "Selection Sunday" or the "superbowl", guess which state stood alone in choosing Selection Sunday? You guessed it.
Name another program who has 20,000 plus camp out for 4 days to receive tickets to the first practice.
Name another program who will send the entire state population to Hawaii for a pre-season tourney in a high school gym.
The overall point is, UK's die hard fans aren't any more "true" than another programs, they are all equal. EVERY program has it's fans. But in the end, the UK program has MORE of these fans, plain and simple.
Yes, the Dean Done isnt loud. Out of the top programs in America it is by far the quietest. But who am I talking to, a sports genius that knows everything so I must be wrong.
You left all and any credibility a few posts ago when you started talking about tradition and things I never even mentioned. But saying that Cal cares about nothing but himself is hilarious. The man has done more to help the homeless and victims of tornadoes and hurricanes than any coach in the country. While all coaches are out recruiting he's dragging the team to the Dominica to help build houses. Geeez, what a warped mind you have.
Nothing entertains me more than a moron from another state telling me he knows more about UK than I do.epper:
lol it's not far from the truth and you know it. Don't act like UK doesn't have bandwagon fans because every school has them.
I agree that UK has some of the most supportive and excited fans, not going to lie but I promise Duke, UNC, and Kansas is right up there with you. Ya see all those kids camping out to watch Duke play Wake Forrest or the University of Suck and say...."well their gym sets about 300 people and UK fans camp out too" but I guarentee if UK / Duke / UNC all had the same size arenas, the attendance wouldn't be that different and they travel just as well.
I hate all three so don't get me wrong but it's silly to think that other schools aren't as die hard as UK fans.
Yep, you're full on idiot. When you say the Dean Dome is never loud, you expose your complete ignorance and blind homerism you moron.
Oh yes, Cal has done more for humanity than all other coaches combined. LMAO.
My God, what a typical blind, ignorant homer. Talk to Memphis fans. They'll give you some reality you idiot.

It would do you some good to read the posting guidelines and rules that Freak posted at the top of the forum in Bright Yellow.
Smalls is fair game, IMO.
Exactly. It's not like I'm the only one who has called him on his BS.
I've got no problem with posters like you Hardwood or any other rival fan's differing opinion that add to the discussion. It's posters like Smails that come in here and act like they're on catsmenopause and in homer land. You're going to get called out for your blind homerism and obtuseness.

I'd take hardwood over three quarters of our board on a good day.
UK may have the best fans, but to totally discount the fanbases in Durham and Chapel Hill is quite a stretch.
The Dean Dome is a morgue, its a fact. And whats so special about Durham? Every program would be loud if they had THAT big of a student section, seated them on the floor and played in a high school gym. When was the last time you saw the "Cameron Crazies" on a road game? Yeah, never.
