Kentucky Blue White Game

Yeah I reckon if that's what you wanna call it. Look here, I'm big orange through and through and I don't give a damn about UK fans bragging about their petty spring game on our site!! Y'all gave up on football when y'all pissed Bryant off all in the name of pussy basketball.

I don't think we've ever given up on football. The fans here love basketball. Some don't care about football. But there's a ton of support toward football and people want to see a good team. Kentucky is a basketball state, but they love football too.

And I've never seen a UK/Bama fan. Never lulz.

UT fans are pathetic in this thread. Let UK enjoy their moment of joy. Both programs are in an exciting time and fans are really looking forward. I see a lot of posts that are simply trash coming from people with nothing to contribute...cough cough bleeding.

Calm down and enjoy it. UT fans need to grow up and stop acting like jackasses every time a UK thread pops up.

I agree, this is the NCAA forum, not the Tennessee forum. Some people just complain about the dumbest s***. If they only want Tennessee news, stay in the Tennessee forum. I don't blame you Kentucky fans for being here, this is the best website on the interwebz

I'm excited for CFB to start simply so that Kentucky realizes they're still Kentucky. Lived up there a couple years and it was like clockwork, every year around this time the fan base would get excited, say this was the year, start busting out their football shirts...then 3-4 weeks into the season those shirts go back into the closet and they pull out the basketball shirts and act as if the football team losing no longer exists...same thing will play out this year.

That sounds eerily like the Dooley era at UT. Except, without the basketball team doing anything of note...

UK fans could care less about their football team. If they ain't watching a sport where players play with a round orange ball in their hands then they're not interested.

That statement, young man, is ignorant.

So is Grizz's statement on "running off Bryant."

Let me go post about UTFB on cat pause and see how that turns out...you can't handle the heat stay outta the kitchen bruh.

All I did was point out something that's very true, I lived in KY, 45 minutes south of Lexington...I've seen first hand how many UK fans act. The girl I dated is related to Jared Polson, so you can imagine the amount of KY fans in her family. Every year it was the same thing, I just found it funny, because we all knew how it's gonna turn out. Like someone else said, you think 50k are showing up late in the year if Stoops is sitting at 4-6 with 2 games left?

The only reason you would post that in the first place would be to s*** on UK's spring game. I understand d why you would do that, as a fan of a rival school but it does smack of surprise and butthurt...

When UT fans talk s*** about UK football it's because they can't talk s*** to anyone else in the SEC.

weak

That is a pretty big stretch...A Vol fan didn't start the thread about UK's spring game. I'd say there is some obligation to mix it up a little.

I agree that mixing it up is warranted- it's a message board.

But can we move on past the same old stuff that's been re-hashed a million times?

"Kentucky ran the Bear off."

"Kentucky fans don't support football."

"Cal is a cheater. GBO VFL."

The point of a message board is to discuss ideas and thoughts in an intelligent and fresh manner, not rant in an infantile manner. Some posters here just regurgitate the same old arguments that grandpappy told them when they were 5, embracing it as gospel, when there's another side to it in reality.

I agree that we could elevate the quality of attack. I did my best....

So, big improvements in the 1st team defense- wouldn't take much after last year. Juco transfer D-Lineman Za'Darious Smith was a monster today.

Tennessean Dyshawn Mobley led the game in rushing, 13 for 65 yards. Another Tennesseean, QB Reese Phillips came in and led a scoring drive in the 4th quarter.

QB situation will be not decided over summer. Max Smith, Jalen Whitlow, and Patrick Towles all threw for touchdowns, although Smith will probably get the nod in the end. Whitlow seems to have benefitted the most from the installation of the Air Raid. With players spread out, it bodes well for his ability to tuck and run or throw into open spaces.

Overall, a good start for the Stoops era. One turnover in the game, an interception. Zero fumbles, so that's improvement.

This information would be far more interesting if this were a Kentucky forum, but its not.

You left out 88-58 or whatever the score was.

Kentucky fans just realized that the big building with the empty seats and grass was a football stadium. Congrats Cats!
