Heh, maybe they'll have a decent coach soon and be able to win some games. I'm applying this fall to work on my DMA and would rather not sit through two absolutely wretched seasons up there.

If anybody in the state of Kentucky needs to be fired it is Charlie Strong...That guy is nothing less than hilarious as a head coach...And to think some UT fans wanted him as HC at UT....Wow....Oh yeah and Kentucky Sucks :p

Good thing for the state of KY that they have B'ball and horse racing. Football's a diversion for them like b'ball is for most SEC schools.

Question is...which will draw more people this Saturday...UK/JSU or Keenland? My money's on the horsies.

Horsies = pretty girls all dressed up, booze, chance to make money, little to no frustration

Commonwealth = expensive, pretty girls all dressed in layers, no booze, leave mad win or lose

Strong just signed a 7 yr extension today. I'm sure brainfart will follow suit shortly

Sure is funny how this thread went from Jokers possible firing - to basketball. Kensucky basketball. Blah, blah blah, and more blah. Just for grins, the last time kensucky won a national championship in BB, UT won one in football.

As a Big Blue hater, I certainly hope Leach doesn't come to UK. I do believe he would make them competative, and in our current stage of disrepair......

The diff is, Kletus, that UK has been relevant in basketball since 1998. Can't say the same for UT FB.

One could argue that would give KY a "bigger-name" coach than the Vols, which would be upside-down.

Hiring Mike Leach would be the best thing that's ever happened to Kentucky football. Perfect fit. Bad news is that the streak would end while he is there.
