UT has nothing to worry about because it doesn't matter if UK rolled in 8-0 ranked #1...you can ALWAYS depend on UK sucking against UT. Feels like every year we play our worst game vs the orange.

We are missing the boat and I'm not sure what is going on. We have an immediate need at corner and haven't landed anyone. No help at pass rush either. I think we've only landed one impact LB. Surely they don't think we should just ride with what we witnessed this year.

We have a OL, TE, and a LB who will all compete for playing time. We have some good options at edge already and like 18 DBs already.
at this point I assume we are only taking difference makers at DB or DE. We went after a few but not everyone out there. I just don’t see us taking someone unless we really know he can be a starter day 1 in those two positions.

We will probably hit it for a couple of more guys. Per VQ, we have dialogue with the WR at Oregon, the RB at Carls Jr, and an OT at Miami. The first 2 were highly recruited and can make an instant impact, and the other one Campbell started at both RT and LT for Miami. Seems like CJH is hitting the portal pretty hard. Still think we need a plug and play CB. Move Slaughter and Turnage to safety

Last year we didnt make our big portal moves until after spring practice. Plenty of time. Not sure what the new portal timeline does to the relationship with practice schedule.

But I imagine we do the same thing. See what the freshmen and team looks like, before making moves

There will be another small wave after the bowl games and another after spring practices. Won’t be surprised if we grab two or three pretty good ones at positions of need when it’s all said and done.

Leary had a big injury this year. And he is not better than Hartman or the kid from Coastal who are in the portal. Especially coming off injury.

Would like to bet on that. Losing their best RB and LB. Still don’t have a deceit QB. Finished last in the SEC in recruiting. Explain to me why Vandy is going to trend up.

Either the youngsters are being counted on or we're waiting for the next group of transfers to enter the portal. Suspect the next group will have better caliber players...or at least that's my hope. Might even find help after spring ball. Like you, I can't imagine standing pat with this group of DBs.
