Kentucky might be tough.

The wildkittens are putting it to fl convincing manner. I'm not worried about gamecocks but ky...
Yeah I was scoffed at when I had that as a trouble game. They manhandled FL. Good win tonight, but SC was limited. We are making a LOT of mental errors we cannot make down the stretch. A&M also looks really good. Missouri will be much tougher than I would like. Bama beat Ole Miss. Georgia isn’t Georgia, but then again they are. Losing McCoy is huge.

I still like a lot of what I saw. Great week for a bye week coming up. Mays is a difference maker. He either seemed winded or wincing in pain. This will allow us to get a little healthier and work on some things.

GO VOLS!

We will be fine against A&M and Kentucky if we get the line play on both sides like we did tonight. Cooper and Mincey are huge difference makers on the line. Ollie did very well at guard too, it was a big ask to move him to center. Had Cooper played against Florida things might’ve been different.

Yet, at the end of the day, it is better for us that Florida got this L; and we just need to take care of our own business, going forward.
How Florida does the rest of the season will be the least of our worries. Fact is that Tennessee lost to a very mediocre Florida team two weeks ago.

Sometimes I wonder if part of Tennessee’s problems are mental. Florida dominates Tennessee, who in turn does the same to Florida. Yet, for the most part, Tennessee takes care of Kentucky. It doesn’t make sense.
The Vols have a history of starting slow even when we are good.

Other than maybe Vandy, there are no gimmees on the conference schedule.

We should be favored in several of them, but we better show up to play. We can’t just show up and win.
There is so much parity in the league this year. I can’t tell who the clear leader is either. I know UGA is still the defending champs but they don’t look as good offensively.

Thank goodness comparing scores usually isn't valid. Ky jelly basically did to UF What we did to lsu last year... they were so far behind so fast that all the game prep went out the window and they were fornicated.
That's a good comparison everybody buried LSU after Florida State beat them and we trounced them at LSU. Then at the end of season LSU is in the SEC Championship game. Comparing game scores is a bettors losing path.

Tough spot for us. They have a bye the week before. We play Bama.

Kentucky is pretty strong at home, and we struggle on the road.

I never believe we are going to win in Gainesville. I never believe we are going to lose to Kentucky, no matter where we play. It's maddening but UF always plays their best game of the season against us and we do things we don't see the rest of the year on the negative side. I'm sure it's maddening for Kentucky, but they seem to play some of their worst football against us, and even if they play great, we still play better than them.

I think we just did not show up against Fla. it’s the only rational conclusion. Ray Davis is a man amongst boys at RB and the defense appears improved but nothing we can’t handle IMO

Playing UK later in the season is to our advantage. I don't think they have a lot of depth and their team gets worn down as the season go on.
