UF has that potential. But we are just not landing recruits out of Miami, or south of Lake Okeechobee, i.e. Belle Glade area.

Charlie Strong has good ties to that community and those coaches. You saw what he did at Louisville with a handful of those kids out of Miami, and without the linemen that come from the northern part of the state, or neighboring states. What he could do at Florida with talent position recruits from Miami, plus the linemen from places like Live Oak or Jacksonville, is almost hard to imagine.

If hopes and wishes were loaves and fishes, we'd never go hungry again.

The Charlie Strong ship sailed the day Foley gave Muschamp the job. The only way Strong leaves Texas is if he gets fired, so unless Foley is willing to stick with Muschamp for another 2 or 3 years I just don't see Strong making the move.

Texas will limp to a 7-5 record this season and will probably be the same in 2015. I think Charlie Strong could be dumped following the 2015 season. Texas has deep pockets so they can always find a football coach. He could be available to Florida in 2016 if Muschamp is still the head coach going into 2015.

Not sure if you've seen their schedule, but they have a good possibility of going 6-6...maybe even less.

I don't think there is any chance they fire him after two seasons...Mack Brown left the cupboard pretty bare. The Texas admin knows that.

Texas and UF simply trade coaches. Everybody is happy. And just returns us to where we should have been two years ago.

No, I think the rest of us are fairly happy with the status quo.

Don't worry, we can give you all sorts of tips and tricks on a coaching search when it comes around.

Well, you guys are the Masters of the Buyout, anyway. Gonna have to wait a year or 2 before we can see for sure if Butch "gets it."

Yep, there's a guy in Dallas named Dooley who we think would be a great fit.

What I'm optimistic about is UK's offense (indeed every single player who scored @ UF) is a freshman, they'll return all the starters on offense and all but 2 on defense. They also have a good class coming in, move of whom they're able to redshirt. This team is going to get better after every game.

2 of those are Z. Smith and Dupree right? Those are two really good players to try and replace.

I'm not ready to say that UK is going to be a good team this year yet. I need to see how they play against USCe and LSU in the next few weeks.

Definite measuring sticks. I think they'll be competitive against the Gas Pumpers and probably get drilled in Baton Rouge, but you never do know.

Meant will come on as the year goes on. This is just his 2nd or 3rd game at this level. Elam is still a year away from being Terrance Mount Cody impact.

Stoops is a defense-first guy, and it's already showing up on the field.
