Kentucky vs Louisville

Duke and Louisville should both make the Final 4. If they don't, Pitino and K have really screwed up.

Louisville is quick as a cat too.

I doubt ours is this good, I'm curious to see it used against a halfway decent opponent though.

We also don't have the guard quickness that's making this so effective. Trae is Siva

Louisville would beat UT by 15+. Our guards would struggle to keep anyone in front of them.

Pressey and Siva are as quick as they come. Mizzou could go further if Haith wasn't their coach.

UL is damn good, and incredibly quick.

Pressey has been giving me nightmares thinking about trae guarding him for months. only hope is back off and hope he can't hit from outside.

The SEC is Mizzou or Fla's to lose. Ky may have some say in it, but if anyone other than those two teams win it, I'll be shocked.

Pressey is the real deal. Mizzou doesn't play a lot of defense and it'll probably bite them in the ass in the NCAA's when they play someone like a Wisconsin that slows it down.

Oh, I understand. (And those are not my words in the post) There is no doubt that our fan base is one of the best in the country at making excuses for a loss before it happens, to pad the fall by leaning on past accomplishments. It is pretty cut and dry.

However, I think UT football fans aren't too far behind us on the back stretch, evidenced by the 100+ "Vandy still sucks because they are Vandy" and "We've always owned them" threads after Vandy housed UT this year.

Any program that has experienced sustained superiority, especially against in-state rivals, are always quick to pull the trigger on throwing the past into the current argument.

Yep, agreed, sir.

Ky is killing themselves with missed FT's. Louisville has even had 2 lane violations and they missed the FT again twice. Good grief.

Sounds like the thing to do is put Cauley-Stein on the FT line whenever he gets the ball in the paint.

Calipari needed to call his timeout when his man was trapped. That would have prevented the game-ending turnover.

Good game. Louisville SHOULD have won- they are the better team. Kentucky is showing steady improvement, will go on a big roll in the SEC, and anything can happen in March.

Gotta hit some free throws and get production from Poythress.

A really good game. Louisville played great, Kentucky simply lost the game on the free throw line.

And VolCard...If you're gonna make a bad joke like that, at least spell his name right.

I'm guessing being that tall in high school was a bigger deal than it is in college. He probably wasn't depended to gaurd equally tall guys every single game. The jump from high school to college is huge, Wiltjer probably never played guys as big and stonger than him as regularly.
