Stallings is an idiot but he really doesn't have anything to do with that. Even if he wanted to change that, it wouldn't happen.

Stallings is perfectly happy for UT to have an incompetent coach. He's afraid of UT having a real coach - yet another rival for him to lose to.

It's time for Vol fans to contact Mike Slive and urge him to slap a fine/suspension on Baldy for disparaging the Tennessee fan base. Anyone have his email address? The SEC is not supposed to allow that sort of behavior.

Hey SpecialEd, fitting name btw, Pearl is not returning to UT and that's not why Stallings said what he did. He said it as a coach. This is his 15th year at Vandy and he's had some pretty good one's all in all including IllSt. There's no reason for him to be afraid of Bruce Pearl or anyone else. Even the 'great and powerful Pearl' split with them most years and lost to them twice in the 09-10 season. Billy Donovan cant even claim a winning record vs UT probably dating back to Jerry Green.

Pearl was 8-4 against Vandy and 8-5 against Fla, with 3 of those 5 coming in his "dead man walking year".

Stallings? No way, he's actually done a good job this year considering his circumstances.

Having said that, the Midday 180 was somewhat ripping him today. He's been at Vandy 14 seasons now, and his career SEC record is 118-122.
