Are any of these threads even necessary. We all get it. Dooley sucks. Thread after thread complaining about him is not going to change the fact that we are stuck with him.

Thread fail.

No, it's not. If you knew anything about A&M you would know they had one of the worst defenses in the nation last year. That, on top of losing Tannehill, should have sealed their fate. If I'm not mistaken, they were picked sixth in the West. Look at them now. Sumlin is a god compared to that trainwreck of a coach we have now.

It's our duty as fans to keep talking and talking and talking and talking about it until there is a change. I can't get enough of talking about it I want this fool gone yesterday.

The point to this thread is a direct response to all those trying to say Dooley deserves another year to get things turned around. The point is good coaches don't need 3 years to win big ballgames and there are plenty of coaches out there beside Jon Gruden that fall into that category.

For people to say we would be setting the program back 5 years if we fired Dooley this year this a perfect example of how flawed that thinking is.

Our coach is a sanctified place holder now. It will be over soon.

What happens when you install a scheme that is simple and efficiently practiced. Meanwhile, Chaney swaps to numbered routes and brings in linehan/coryell terms after dumping Kiffin's shiz. Then you out of the blue change from 43 to 34 without the personnel among other cohesive defensive disasters and terrible coaching. Part of the Weis syndrome of schematic advantages when in truth, if you don't have the personnel, don't run it. TFS/AR is one of the few systems that can really turn almost anyone into producing points in a relatively short period.

I am no Dooley supporter but Miss St had a much easier schedule compared to UT. You have to factor that in.

Guess who almost beat Miss St. (hint: they lost by 6 instead of 7 this time)? Troy, that's right. Troy.

Miss St. has greatly benefited from a very weak schedule. Out of their first 7 games we were the only "real" team they played.

Although, I'm starting to think that the money the cupcake teams get is paying off for them. They're playing like Vandy or UK historically does -- they can beat you if you don't take them seriously even though they usually lose.

For example see the Sun Belt's performance against:

Arky (W - La. Monroe),
Auburn (L - La. Monroe lost by 3 in over time)
Miss. St. (L - Troy lost by 6)
UT (L - Troy lost by 7),
Kentucky (W - WKU wins by 1 in overtime)
Ga Tech (W - MTSU thumps Tech 49-28 )

Parity is far from being here but the competition from all the way around is getting better. These teams have taken money from big teams for years and it's paying off in the level of competition they're bringing. They're not just rolling over and dying like they used to. Better teams actually have to put some effort into beating them and if they do they usually but not always win.

How does any of that change the fact Dooley lost to MSU and Sumlin beat them?

I wonder about some of you.

Doesn't. I was talking about Miss St. and their beneficial schedule as well as the fact that the cupcakes aren't as soft as they used to be -- they're more like chewy brownies or even shortbread now. If we played Vandy, or better yet, Kentucky for the first 5 games dont'cha think we'd have had a better shot at Miss. St.?
