Sumlin can coach, Dools can't! Sumlin has a great QB that is only a freshmen. Imagine this guy in a couple of years. Bray still remains sporadic.

I get Sumlin may have walked into a better situation in his 1st year than Dooley did in his 1st year. The problem I have is Sumlin in his 1st year would DESTROY Dooley in his 3rd.

Sumlin inherited a much better situation than Dooley. But Dooley's had three years to fix his. Sumlin's already doing a better job with what he found lying around the office when he took the job.

There's a clue...Dooley obsesses about the precise color and material of his custom orange pants while his program circles the drain. But hey those orange pants are cool.

Thanks for explaining the whole point of this thread. We are not comparing 1st years to first years we are comparing Dooley's third year to Sumlin's first year. Dooley doesn't even come close to winning that argument.

Sumlin is 2-2 against ranked opponents with 2 road SEC wins in his FIRST year.

Dooley is 0-15 against ranked opponents with 1 road SEC win in 3 years.

I forgot that dooley is the one the fumbled the ball on the drive that would have been the go ahead score
