I feel the same way.Pass rush, pass rush, pass rush. Pressure, pressure, pressure.
Yep...absolute #1 key in my mind. The secondary looks a lot better than it is when we get consistent pressure on the QB.Pass rush, pass rush, pass rush. Pressure, pressure, pressure.
Except it's not next year, it's the final game of this year. All players from this year are available to play. A bowl game shouldn't be a dumbed down scrimmage for eligible players. Some guys never practiced at a #1, so really it's worse than the first game as they will have much more prep at their position for game 1 next year. Saying it's game 1 for next year is ridiculous. If that's the case then sit all the seniors.Have to disagree, respectfully. The approach is to prepare the kids coming back next year with all the extra practice, reps, schemes and such. It's almost like the bowl game is the first game for next season. As an example, Squirrel White getting all the first team reps this week in Hyatt's place, much like he would the last week of next August. I'm excited to see some of the young guys get to play.
As a fan, I get the mindset. We’re not winning a championship this year. But for a player or coach, talk like that is asinine. This isn’t pop warner. I would direct everyone who says this to this video:
