Key to beating Clemson

I will watch because I enjoy watching college football. I certainly would like to see UT win but I can’t say if or how important the game is. I guess that is up to each individual including the players. Maybe it will have a little effect on recruiting but NIL deals will have a much, much greater effect on recruiting.

Right now I am watching Duke/UCF. Is the game important??? Do I care who wins? No, No, NO! Well not to me but to some it may be. But I am watching it anyway.

If I had my way, they would go to a 16 team playoff and do away with the bowl games or just incorporate them into the playoffs.

That's freaking priceless. I'd like to have seen a coach years ago respond to our a$$ wipe (John Adams) that way.
Yep. Reporter had it coming. He had a PlayStation mentality and the coach called him on it. As much as I hate to say it, we've had some of that "useless" attitude among some of our previous players and coaches. Hope we never have to deal with it again.

All three of those players would play if it was a playoff game. Even if it was just Hyatt, that's the most productive player from either team, arguably the best player in the game. The award winning game changer as they say. You're trying to justify it, I understand, but go look at high caliber players opting out, not just TN. I can think of a few. Ky Levis, Fl Richardson, Tx Robinson... There are around 40 NFL draft board opt outs IIRC. The Rose bowl even has opt outs and that's the biggest bowl outside the playoff. I like the bowl games, give the kids incentive to play. Pay em for putting up numbers in these games. I'm not sure why you are trying to make it seem like I'm not a fan, that's the opposite. I want them to play but don't think they should because they have nothing to gain. The game is meaningless for the (draft eligible) players, not the fans. You can thump your orange chest while drunkenly telling us all what you think a real fan is but it doesn't make it so.

You wanna know how you can tell these games are busted? Watch the Vegas lines. The spreads will be extremely far off. Vegas doesn't make huge spread mistakes like is fixing to happen.
I never said you weren’t a fan. I just said the game has meaning to all playing, it isn’t a meaningless game. I could care less about the spread, it has nothing to do with the actual game. I wasn’t trying justify anything. I am not drunk either. It still means something to Darnell Wright and Byron Young and the ones that will be on the field. Some of you all just like to whine about who we don’t have. I wish them welll, but my mind is with the ones we do have. It’s a top 10 matchup and for the players coming back and the ones suiting up one last time I guarantee they want to win. Not going to spend anymore time arguing with you about it. There is nothing to justify either whatever the heck you meant by that. We didn’t have as many opt outs as some on here predicted. I could care less about other teams opt outs. Sure it happens I understand Tillman’s reasons and Hyatt has to do what is best for him. It takes nothing from the importance of the games for reasons I have well stated. It is a important game to the University and it fans and players. That is all! GBO! I don’t worry or whine about who we don’t have. We have to play with who we got. Plenty of pride at Tennessee and folks will step up it takes nothing from the importance of the game for to the people involved or the true fans that pull for them. GBO!

Just go out and play hard, we still
have offensive weapons. O- line needs to play well. On D stop the run and get pressure on the quarterback. This will help our secondary. No doubt our secondary struggled at times this year but our D as a whole had sone good games as well. We did go 10-2 after all. Go Joe Milton, just play within yourself and relax and go have fun. GBO!!!!!
