My dream scenario:

Saban hires Kiffin. Neyland is rockin' to overflow capacity, and we beat Bama. Kiffin gets fired at the end of the year and replaces James Franklin at Vandy, where we proceed to whoop his @$$ for the next # years.

You forgot to add in some part where you have "relations" with Leyla...

Despite his inability to be a head coach, lane is still a good offensives be and a relentless recruiter. As much as I hate to say this but if he goes to Bama I honestly think he'll improve the team.

This. Guy will have equal/more talent at Bama than SC. Only issue is ego but imo a great hire if it happens. Hope not bc Bama will get into Cali and Tampa on the trail.

On one hand I think it would be a bad hire for them and good for us because he seems like a cancer for a program, but on the other hand he seems to know X and O's well and can recruit with the best of em. Thoughts?

More like leprosy than cancer.
Cancer multiplies.
Leprosy only subtracts.

My dream scenario:

Saban hires Kiffin. Kiffin brings more NCAA heat to bama. bama gets busted for violations. Saban doesn't want to deal with the trouble, leaves bama. bama's new coach fires kiffin.

It would be glorious!

Can you imagine?!? I would live down here a few more years just to get my revenge!

As much as I don't like the slime ball, I do believe it will not be good for us if he goes to bammer. When he was here, he had good game plans against Florida to keep the game close and almost beat Bama in Tuscaloosa, if not for the blocked FG attempt. He did it with drastically inferior players. He is a disaster as a HC, but his offensive philosophy fits Saban's to a tee. If he doesn't insert his poison in the program he could do well. Obviously Saban believes he can control him.

It will be funny to watch the bammer fans who joked about him when he was here.

He would automatically become an offensive genius and they would question why he didn't stay at UT. "It must have had something to do with that AD before you guys took our ole Assistant AD"

I can hear it now!

Even in the "box" he'd be an idiot to come back to Knoxville- even working for Satan- birds of a feather!

With all due respect, Kiffin is the one who lost the game for us on the last drive after the long Stocker reception. Having him at Bama will not help their recruiting as if it needs any. I will give him the ability to coach up QB's, no doubt in that department.

To everyone who says it wouldn't be good for us if he goes what exactly are you basing that off of? You're falling into the same "Kiffin is a good coach" trap that everyone else did. The only thing he has proven on the football field is that he CAN'T get it done. What did he do in Oakland? Nothing what did he do here? Won 7 games with a lot more talent than we have now. USC fired him and magically started playing well.

But no...he'll improve Bama. Right.

What would he change his son's name to?

Crimson Tyde Kiffin?

Yeller Hammer Kiffin?

Elephant Tusk Kiffin?

Please don't shoot my kid if we lose -- Kiffin?
