didn't kiffin blatantly accuse saban of cheating or something of that order when he was coach here? seems that he accused meyer as well. saban doesn't strike me as the forgive and forget type.

It would be an absolute pleasure to whip bama with Kiffin as OC.

I hope he gets the job. He will be Saban's cryptonite.

If this happens - on top of Lousiville re-hiring Petrino - I may give up on college sports in general due to the scuzziness.

He's actually a very good qb coach, elite recruiter and decent oc and tireless worker. He's a below average talent evaluator and not head coach material. He would do really well at bama.

Seeing how Bama seemingly finishes #1 in recruiting every year regardless of assistants/coordinators, I don't think Satan would hire him for his recruiting abilities. More likely that Kiffin rubs recruits the wrong way and Bama starts slipping.

Anything is possible...consider that Louisville hired (or rehired) Petrino knowing his history and the way he left that program.

I could see him doing a couple of years with bama and then taking the Florida job.

What if vandy offers?

he wasn't that great of a coordinator he ran the same play 3 times against ucla on the goal line in 2009 while here at tennessee. he wasn't horrible but i would not call him great either.

I don't see why people bash the guy simply because he left for what he'd consider a dream job.

As much of a Vol as I am, I don't expect everybody to love the place like I do.
