I just wonder if he had an ultimatum from Saban?...leave or be replaced....so Sarkision will take his place?

That's been the idea since Sark was brought on.
I've always felt Saban was tired of Kiffin and now he's finally rid of the side show

Who will Orgeron get now?... I heard a rumor that part of Ed getting the LSU job was being able to pull Kiffin in as OC...

With Lane Kiffin to FAU, the Bama OC job brings much intrigue. Will Saban promote Steve Sarkisian? Mike Locksley? Could Sark go to LSU?

Sark needs a few years under Saban to fix himself I doubt he gets a call from anyone

There's no way O's hiring was tied to bringing Kiffin. Everyone knew he was going hunting for a HC gig. O got the job when Texas went after Herman.

LSU: As The Advocate reported yesterday, Pitt OC Matt Canada has become a strong candidate for LSU’s offensive coordinator position. Dan Wolken is reporting that Canada will meet with Ed Orgeron in the next 24 hours.

He's never been successful as a head coach. He should accept that he's not cut out to do that and take his $1.8 million + per year. Dumb move.

All I care about is that he gone. Out of the SEC and away from Bama. Wishful thinking on my part, but maybe their offense will see decreased production.

This is a temp stop.
FAU knows this and so does Kiffin.
He'll be at a major school before long whether anyone wants to admit it or not

Nope, it's a position that's seen a lot of turnover over the years and has never missed a beat.
It's sickening.

of being kicked around by Saban. In fact, Kiffin has been a HUGE reason for bama's success. This move shows how desperate Kiffin is. I figured he'd get a much better head job this off-season--he is a good coach.

I think it's fair to say he made a scary program even more frightening n making the offense even better and more efficient. He was great at in game adjustments as Bama's OC.

That said, this is a blip on the radar for Bama. They'll still be heavy favorites to crush everyone next year yet again. Ole Donkey teeth did a pretty good job there as well.

He's a good coach but I don't think they're any more scarier than in years past.

Calvin Ridley should easily have over 1,000 yds.

66 for 727 isn't using Ridley enough IMO.

I'm fully conviced Uncle Rico could call plays and they'd still score 40-50 on most
