For FAU this is a huge boost in recruiting. being able to cover broward and dade county hes "popular" enough where those kids who arent 4 and 5 * but are still solid florida athletes will flock there. they have a beautiful new stadium too. USF anf FAU just made recruiting even more difficult for UM FSU UF imo.

Don't put to much into it.
He might get 1 but high caliber guys won't fall over people trying to get there.
You are forgetting one significant factor...
TV time.
How much does FAU get? It's not always about the coaches, but how much exposure one can get to improve said draft stock.
Im heavily involved in broadcasting the highschool football scene in South Florida. i watched FAU scoop up 4 stud players from Boyd Anderson High school a few years back and were going to sign Eddie Jackson the stud safety at Bama. Before he was recruited pretty much out of nowhere by bama he was on the straight track to FAU to play with his highschool qb Hankerson who eventually transferred from FAU.
Trust me when i say the kids from the inner city schools in broward and dade that aren't getting looked at by big power 5 schools love to go to the Boca area / Boca campus lifestyle. Alot of these kids end up at schools like North Dakota State or walk on at the bigger schools. i dont expect a dalvin cook from Miami central to sign there but with the talent down here he will scoop players up that want to stay in state.

truthfully alot of these kids know they arent going to the league, they want to play and get into a school. the best kids get scooped up but the leftovers still want to play and will go where they get a scholarship. i personally watched calvin ridley play his junior year here in coconut creek and the WR opposite of him played just as well as he did and 1 is a star at the best school in the country the other is....who knows where.
Not going to lie I had the same thought.
How many does it actually hold?
You laugh, but that's 1/10th of NFL starters.
Let's go ahead and add Derek Carr, Blake Bortles, Paxton Lynch, Jimmy Garoppolo and Ryan Fitzpatrick.
