Kiffin should win regularly down there. Only a matter of time before he leaves though
Reference calls to USC and Tennessee rendered Lane Kiffin "unhireable"
Word I got is positive outlook on Canada as of earlier today. Lamo had a tough call, as his options were limited.
These are the type of recruits that FAU has to rely on. Obviously not all f them will be arrested for domestic assault but he'll have to hit the JUCO ranks for P5 retreads. For some reason kids love Kiffin and I am sure he will get his fair share of former big time recruits who left school for JUCO or were kicked off a team
Not true. FAU doesn't have to rely the JUCO ranks. Florida is loaded - just a matter of getting out there and sweeping the state. Kiffin is simply being Kiffin. Wants a quick fix. He has no problem recruiting guys with major character flaws.
If he wants to compete right away he'll need older players, not freshman that need to get strnger. Kiffin isn't gonna be there 4-5 years and build this program. He wants to show people he can take this program to a bowl game and quick so a bigger more lucrative school will come calling
Exactly he has no plans of staying at FAU - it is a job he hopes to use to re-establish himself as a head coach. But he is not starting out very well. Schools where integrity matters will see the writing on the wall.
Fortunately for Kiffin, that's a pretty short list. If he wins at FAU and gets considered for big boy jobs in the future nobody will remember he did it with a woman-beating QB, especially if he stays out of any more trouble.

Just like I hear on CBS sports coming home. Nobody that matters trust Kiffin with the keys.
Not even sure that changes in 4-5 years.
He's got a long way to go. What is there really to like about the guy?
I mean people might change their behavior some, people might try to learn, people might try to do better, etc. Generally speaking, do people really change their true self? Not really.
