Stoops would be dumb to make that move. They are about to build statues of him in KY for a “winning” season, when LSU is firing a guy 2 years from a Natty. Completely different expectations.

Dumb is not exactly the first word that comes to mind if a coach goes from Kentucky to LSU

Agreed. He can likely parlay this off-season into a raise if he has legitimate offers. Take the raise and the money and stay at Ole Miss. Win around 8 games a year and the fan base will be happy. Win more than 8 games in a year and get another raise. Rinse and repeat.

He’s still young. He should build a legacy of sorts at Ole Miss, and take a big time job later in his career if he wants it.

When the FLa job becomes available he'd be a fool not to take it.
