Yep Brooks cleaned house at Kentucky and brought the preponderance of his VA Tech with him to Kentucky.If Tennessee hires Dawn she certainly could bring many of SC players with her.....then you would be correct.

Its not that I do not trust DW with the hire. For the most part, I don't hear people saying that they don't trust him. I think the concern I have is hiring someone like Stephens AFTER all the narratives about a "home run hire" and "swinging for the fences." Granted, some of these narratives were created by people who probably have no reliable sources; however, the problem isn't as much with Stephens herself as much as hiring Stephens AFTER acting like the world would stop spinning with the hire. I think there is a big difference.

I’m pretty sure if there’s anyone to trust with the hire, DW has proven it’s him.

DW would be firing way out there with Stevens even if she was something like 200 and 15 at her first job a D2 school. First year at Marshall won 27 games so she knows something about how to coach, but you have to get players in the SEC or your done.

Danny is known for very secretive hiring processes, and for creating buzz around a name and then going a different direction.

Everyone just breathe and chill before getting out your pitchforks. Even if the hire isn’t exactly who you wanted keep in mind I know for a FACT that interest wasn’t an issue, so whoever gets hired they killed the interview and provided a plan for success that was approved of.
