Saban isn't God, he loses occasionally. My main point is, it's NOT choking when you lose to Bama coached by Saban. If Clemson would've lost to them that year, it wouldn't have been considered a choke job...

It's choking when you are favored, get your ass stomped, and looked lost the entire second half on both sides of the ball. It's either that or they aren't nearly as good as Bama. It's one or the other.

I think it’s due to the fact of the media hyping up Georgia’s defense where it was the “best ever”.

However, Bama made their defense look below average due to the speed of their wideouts. They couldn’t back it up which is why it’s considered a choke job.

It seems to be VERY important to some in here that uga is in no way to be considered to have "choked", and explain the loss on the most uga-positive manner possible.

Please be considerate. Some Vol fans are taking this loss by uga very hard. Let's be sensitive to their needs at this difficult time for them.

What else could it be?! I think that school is cursed and you can Always count on the bulldogs to choke when the game gets “big.” Glad to be a Vol!, I really believe good things are coming our way:

They got our coached, and are destined to choke when the game gets “big.” They will do it again in either the playoff or championship (if they’re lucky)

For the most part, I think it's Kirby. He's not a very good coach, but the wealth of talent he has covers it up. He was quoted as saying they were going to be aggressive against Bama...... I didn't really see it. And I do not understand his fascination with Hatboy at QB. He kinda reminds me of a better version of Pruitt...

If he wants to get this done, he should start Daniels and let him sling the ball around. Actually do what he said he was going to do and be aggressive...

Personally though, I hope he keeps right on being Kirby and they lose to Meatchicken. The look on dawg fan faces after seeing Jim Hairball celebrating the win over their precious dawgs would be so sweet........

Ohio St lost to Clemson in the Semifinal by 1 score. What was Fromm doing in 2019? Losing to craptastic South Carolina that won all of 4 games, and doing what Georgia always does, choking away their season. We beat that team by 20 points with JG as our QB lol

Right. Ohio State had just as much talent as UGA that year and they lost to Clemson. There’s no reason to think that UGA would’ve won it in 2019 when Ohio State didn’t even make the last game with Fields.

Of course they do, but I do find it curious when they beat Bama for a couple of years the NCAA comes down on them (Ole Miss).

I would bet with how out in the open GA with paying recruits and bringing in talent if they would have beat Bama a couple times and shown to be any real threat the SEC/NCAA would be more scrupulous.

There is cheating, and then there is carte blanche Bama cheating.

He’s never had to build anything from the ground up.

Let’s not forget their program wasn’t even close to being bad compared to UT when Kirby took the job.

Can’t really tell if that was a like or a shot? I was trying to combine smart@$$ery, a bit of humor, and frustration with uga apologists in one post. Perhaps it was a bridge too far......
