You wanna talk about bandwagonners...Well I am fixing to touch a nerve here, I am willing to bet that my (bandwagon fan) ass can tell you just about anything you want to know about UT Basketball than most of these so called "Rocky Top Rowdies" or whatever you call them...Not saying you Bruno, but I am saying you wanna talk about bandwaggoners go read some of the post on THIS site about the basketball program...Half of these kids didnt know basketball existed until Pearl got here, and they are still under a belief that he created it....

look at Duke academics vs. UNC academics......Thats like Vandy vs. Carson Newman....give me a break

Also thats because UNC has about 20000 students, while duke has about 5000. Hence, the 3-4 times more graduates. Come on, now you're just making yourself look uninformed.

don't have time to read all the reponses, and i don't know if someone has mentioned this, but...

I think UT/Bama is just as big a rivalry as OSU/Michigan...

but obviously, the media doesn't think that's the case because OSU/Michigan is broadcast EVERY year, regardless of the record of either school, without question... and we all know that the national networks didn't give a damn about broadcasting UT/Bama for the first time in 20 years.

On a side note, I think Bama/Auburn is a bigger rivalry than UT/Bama, Michigan/OSU, UF/FSU, FSU/Miami, Texas/A&M, Okla/Nebraska, UCLA/USC, etc...

But WITHOUT QUESTION.... THE biggest rivalry in the history of football, hands down, is Army-Navy. Period.

That's my opinion and I'm stickin' to it.

Ok - you're taking a small sample and judging it on your roommate?

I'd say I've asked about 200 people since I've been about 17.

There have been 2 maybe 3 say they had ties to UNC. The rest were these types.... "They're good at basketball, that's why I bought the hat" or "I like the color" or, the worst kind, "I like the tarheel logo", while proudly sporting a foot on their hat.

Well its the complete opposite for me. I know 3-4 people that wear the Baby blue.. and they were born and raised in North Carolina. But I get to see Duke stuff everywhere I go. Even my brother and Dad are Duke bandwagoners.
