eh, just don't care. it is 3 games in 13 days. anyone looking at hte schedule seeing that game in between GT and FL, should be able to put 2 and 2 together.

and it's only a net loss of a day iirc....

You do realize that the mindless, head in the sand "optimism" of some... prompts the reality checks you get from people you like to call negavols or "miserables".

I actually like the staff. I like the players. I like the apparent progress under Rock. I still don't trust Jones. He hasn't earned it. And frankly if I have a problem with Jones that probably won't go away... it would be that it took him 3 years to figure out that he didn't have an SEC quality staff. Worse than the football coaches was his failure to bring a quality S&C coach in at the start.

Other things he can improve on. Staffing isn't something he should have needed to improve on. Most everyone here knew that his Cincy staff wasn't SEC caliber.

If you let anonymous posters on the internet ruin your excitement or effect your mood in anyway, perhaps you have bigger issues or need to stay off the internet.

I can't speak for Josh but my problem comes from the SOS no matter what thread.

Like the Kirkland hurt thread. It would be nice to discuss it and how to deal with it instead of the coaches suck, Jumper sucks, Butch has injured another player and we lost to USCe and Vandy.

Sucks to have him injured again and hopefully not something that will keep him out for a long period of time. Don't have to have him necessarily against GT simply because of the offense they run, but we will have to have him for Florida IMO.

It's not the opinion itself that I have a problem with cause everyone is entitled their own opinion.

What I do have a problem with is when a discussion turns into a "Jumper sucks", "Butch sucks", "McKenzie is a bust", anything to put down our team in general. Most of time it's by the same posters, including yourself.

If we wanted to discuss negative drama all the time then we'd take our butts over to the politics forum. Most of us would rather have good discussions about what this team can do whether it has to do with the QBs, RBs, WRs, DTs, coach staff in general, whatever the case might be.

I don't care about last season. I don't care what games were won/lost, how they were lost, what could have been different that may have caused a different outcome. None of that matters anymore cause this is a brand new season of college football. Dwelling on the past, which is obviously something you like to do, is a dumb thing to do.

Also, if you think you or any other poster's opinions bother me personally, you're highly mistaken. I could care less what you think nor the other posters who think I'm irrational, a sunshine pumper, or whatever it is. I'll post whatever I damn please but you won't see me bring down the players or the coaching staff unless there's a personal legitimate reason outside of football. I work, pay bills, buy stuff I want, enjoying life. VN isn't going to change my mood. :)

Apparently you must care what I think or else, we still wouldn't be having this argument. Continue having your negative outlook on everything while some of look forward to our Vols kick ass this season. Expectations aren't high but that doesn't mean we can't make some noise and sneak up to win the SEC East. Go freaking Vols and have a good day sir!

That phrase led to the worst treatment of a player I've seen on this board.... and the player had no part in it. And FWIW, I'd take Nick Reveiz right now in a heart beat.

sounds like a bunch of pouting because of peoples opinions you don't agree with, but that's just me.

funny my statements on Jumper earlier in this thread were agreed upon by even the most optimistic of posters, but of course you missed those.

I certainly hope nothing said on here bothers you or any other poster. But you do seem to be taking it a bit personal.

I've already explained myself in the post above. Guess you weren't paying attention. Nah, it's nothing personal. What you say on VN is the last thing I worry about at night.

Guess there's a problem with me being optimistic and a problem with you being negative. It is what it is I guess and people won't ever be satisfied with anything. Like a previous poster said in this thread, we're all Vol fans here in the end.
