Not saying he was the " only" reason we lost those games but your team is only as good as its weakest link. You will not convince me that Kirkland wouldn't have made a huge difference along with Maybin. Again, how many SEC scholarship offers did Jumper have out of high school?

1 suspension for 1 game for 1 player. I would say the rumors were typical of rumors. A tiny bit of truth and a whole lot of rumors. On to the season. GO VOLS!!!!!

Im not saying Jumper is better than Kitkland but its not the end of the season and certainly not worth 2-3 losses as earlier stated. Sorry the stats from last year simply prove you wrong.

Who cares how many offers he had. How many did Dillon Bates, KMAC, Richmond, Butcher, and on and on and on have?

Why is it so hard for people to admit jumper is not great? He gives his all but we ain't in the SEC for participation trophies. If he is our best option we have whiffed in recruiting.

I respect Jumper and We are fortunate to have him since Kirkland can't stay healthy. However, like I stated earlier, he wouldn't start at MLB on the majority of SEC teams. You don't win or even compete for an SEC championship without a stud at MLB. Just ask Nick Saban.

Yeah well blame the coach for not recruiting better. But there is simply nothing to back up any argument that playing Jumper at MLB will cost us games, in fact its the opposite.

Lol, I guess we will agree to disagree. Yes hopefully Bituli or even Ignot can step up and show the coaches did recruit well enough to fill the void. I have a feeling we will need all of them before the season is over at the rate we incur injuries.

He's become a VN myth, like a bizarro Paul Bain. Be great to have an all SEC MLB starting but Jumper could could never be as bad as the VN portrayal has become.
It's reached a point of complete silliness.

Y'all better be glad he's here. He gives us stability, health and someone that can make plays at the position. By the time we play Florida one of the youngsters might be ready to command the defense. They will be backing up Jumper and vetting reps.

Why say he wouldn't start at this school or that school? Who cares. Kirkland got hurt and it is what it is. The team and fans have to roll with it. We haven't even played a game yet, get behind them.

It's reached a point that we should have better options than a walk on whose daddy donates money to the school to be starting.
