Knecht may be the only player tonight who represented his school so proudly on the stage. Says something about the state of college sports - but says a whole hell of a lot more about Dalton.
Lebron should be doing handstands at the news if getting Knecht. He couldn't find a better, more immediate talent to add with a 1st rd pick. The NBA done f***ed big time. Lakers have their missing contributor.
He probably was working hard to avoid cussing out all those teams that passed on him. I know I would. "Dalton, what are your feelings on being drafted here tonight?" "I'm about to *censored* Arya Stark these people."
I think he will benefit from playing with LeBron and Davis if he stays on the roster. If it doesn't work out, I'm sure he'll land at a better place in due time. NBA teams often move fast in that regard.
I see the LBJ haters are out in full force, but the Lakers have a plethora of legendary players that can mentor DK. Too bad KB is not still on this earth, he would have been great for DK.
Irony is that Lebron was watching our Elite 8 game against Purdue to see Knecht play. I think he’ll learn quite a bit from some vets and gain respect easily.
I believe Lebron James will be a champion for Dalton Knecht because he will greatly appreciate Dalton's incredible work ethic and his no-nonsense, workman approach to the game. I really do believe this could be the best spot DK could have landed.
Knecht is a real one for shouting out the baseball team. Seems like a good situation for him. Of course it sucks he missed out on some money sliding so far.

Except he isn’t. Moments before Stephen A was drooling over the pick to LA, he was trashing DK for being a terrible defender and too old. Stephen A sucks.
