Clingan and Knecht would be a great haul in round 1, admittedly.

This is why the NBA is stupid and I can’t get into it. A player like DK not being regarded as an elite, instant-impact and draftable prospect after the season he just had is dumb. And, yes, I know all about the age factor. This is still just a microcosm of why I can’t get into it though. It’s just such a stupid drafting philosophy.

It makes no literal sense. Teams trade away multiple 1st rd picks for hot garbage in the middle of the season. But when a legit l, NBA ready player like Knecht is in the draft they don't touch him beuase of his age.

Knecht could be a major contributor for a playoff team. I don't get it..
