Knife Attack in England

It was outsiders, not the townspeople, who clashed with police.
Do you have evidence of that or making assumptions based on the article?

I do think that it's comical the article immediately blames the "far right" as the protestors. It seems to be the "go to " phrase in the media.

That's silly. They just need common sense knife control.
For example, if a knifer can produce X thrusts of a blade in Y seconds, then that knife should be banned. It doesn't impact people with self defense knives or hunting knives so of course it makes sense.
Cutting, incisive and to the point as usual.

Most likely he/she/them/they/ze/Zim are in a protected group. Lbtqxyz+ or Muslim, etc.

Similar to how authorities have went to hell and back to suppress the Nashville shooter's manifesto.
While this is still possible the fact the perp is a minor is in play in them slow walking some of the information.

More will come out...I'm saying it's not a huge surprise they're slow walking a minor's info as opposed to an adult's.
We will see. We see it time and time again governments run cover for the protected groups. Call me cynical.

There is historical cause for cynicism. OTOH people aren't just going to forget something like this and won't accept not getting answers.

We do it here. People are way too trusting of government. We still don't have a lot of information from the Kennedy assassination over 60 years ago. We don't have the Epstein list.

Based on articles I read elsewhere which quoted townspeople as blaming EDL goofs from Liverpool and elsewhere for the unrest.

Couldn’t agree more with Comrade Starmer here. Riotous mobs, ransacking and rampaging, are not “protests” or “protestors” - they are criminals.

“Let’s be very clear about this. It’s not protest. It’s not legitimate. It’s crime. Violent disorder. An assault on the rule of law and the execution of justice,” said Starmer, a former criminal prosecutor.

Unless of course they were “mostly peaceful” riotous mobs, ransacking and rampaging - then it would be A-Ok 👌🏻

Ah, but what if the knifer is holding one blade in each hand. Or even more heinous.....3 blades with one hand wolverine style? Now he exceeds whatever paltry x thrust limits have been placed on him.

Ultimately we need to mandate everyone to one knife households. Owning 2 knives, or even carrying a knife somewhere should be illegal. Cause if someone steals your knife, well now they have two knives and they can wipe out an entire neighborhood. If you buy a knife for your household, you must turn in your old knife and the new knife has to be carried home in a lockable sheath.
