Knox Catholic High/Clemson

? Lol maybe they just don't like the direction of the program?

Can't say I blame Higgins. Why come here to just block. Mays doesn't know Pruitt.

And you're going to tell me that he REALLY got to know Dabo in maybe a month??

The point that KCHS points kids to COLLEGE not a particular college is spot on.
Mine is a recent Grad and I saw the entire experience being aimed at being able to succeed in college. They place something above 95% of grads into Universities and service academies.

And a couple go to Bama.

i was rolling my eyes at the snobbery until read Bama comment.

Knoxville Catholic charges 10k+ a year to attend school there. Right now UT has been down and from a marketing perspective, I'm sure it doesn't hurt to have alumnus competing in the CFP and playing for one of the top ranked schools in the country.

No doubt, Catholic will have plenty more top players come through. As they continue to make annual appearances in the state playoffs they will attract talent from all over the state and possibly outside as well. On top of that, they probably do or could offer scholarships to other local HS players that are really talented.

As long as Tennessee is able to get back on track they will more than likely be the first options for many kids there. But right now there hasn't even been stability, let alone success. And that begs the question, why would any kid want to put themselves at a school where they may have to deal with what UT players dealt with this past year?

They gave up being allowed to do that when they decided to remain in the public division.
