So your whole argument revolves around the “asymptomatic” unicorn. Because if you’re sick and coughing you need to keep your diseased ass home. I pressed my Dr on the point and he admitted there isn’t a great deal that can be done about the unicorn. We’ve been over this repeatedly. The mask is supposed to stop your droplets from transmitting the virus to others. It’s almost completely effective at doing that. A mask is only about 50% effective at stopping incoming droplets since what is suspended in the air is typically a lot smaller.
P.S. Why are you yelling? Lol
Finally someone with common sense and leadership"Message from the Sheriff:
There are serious questions as to the constitutionality of the order made by the health board. My Deputies are sworn to support and defend the constitution. We will rely on the citizens of this community to protect themselves and others in the manner they find appropriate."
Sheriff Spangler’s Response to the COVID-19 mask regulation order.
See my business provides an actual essential service.
Your business, doesnt. Yet still feels the need to be open during s pandemic. Quite clear who the person full of shtt is.
So a bunch of unelected idiots can have you fined for not wearing their mask? Yeah I don’t think that’s possible"The order goes into effect Friday and lasts until the board votes to rescind it. Violating it is classified as a Class C misdemeanor, punishable under state law by up to 30 days in jail and a $50 fine."
Knox County Board of Health passes face mask mandate
As someone who was against shutting the country down, you are contradicting yourself just to be a petty, little bitch. Yes, we feel the need to stay open because the businesses shut down for good if we don't. That's how capitalism works, you rube.
We choose to stay open, but we're going to run it how we see fit. The past month has saved our asses and nearly a hundred jobs. We realize that this isn't going away, and while our business isn't deemed essential by people running ED Supplemental clinics like yours, it's essential to its employees and the general sanity of anyone whose bedtime is after 10.
Oh I have, and I follow their protocols for wearing a mask. I understand and agree no reason to risk giving someone pneumonia that grows into CoVid.You’ve clearly not dealt with a nursing home the past couple of months.
Not contradicting myself at all. I dont care about masks and want you to be open, if that is what you want. Does this work better if I call you baby bitch?
You however, are all in on this damn foolishness, yet not so in as to believe a place meant for socializing, should remain closed...you know....during a pandemic.
We're not even allowed on the campus where my Mother-in-law lives. My wife hasn't seen her Mom in 3 1/2 months.Oh I have, and I follow their protocols for wearing a mask. I understand and agree no reason to risk giving someone pneumonia that grows into CoVid.
I’m just saying that the mandate excludes the one area that should have the strictest guidelines. I honestly think they are laughing at us
Welcome to the final steps in the seven step process of realizing there’s basically not a damn thing short of complete isolation that anybody can do to protect themselves young man.I'm all in when it comes to the notion that this is real. I also recognize that it's a part of life now. If I had it my way, I'd have a sign out front that says "No respiratory/cardiac illnesses, and no one over 70," but I can't legally do that. We have a business to run, and there aren't plans in place to keep us open amidst shortfalls anymore. The government loan was absolute dog **** and you wouldn't understand how difficult this year has been for bars and restaurants.
Frankly, I don't care if you get sick and kill your grandma because of it. I only care about my family, and accept that I've probably had it and have ceased seeing my older family members in person as a result. So, I work. We need revenue, so we're going to run it as best we can to balance maintaining a profit and not allowing people to be idiots.

It's what most venues of our nature will be doing. We had a meeting with a few other owners and directors about it earlier this week because we knew it was coming, given the spike in numbers due to businesses like yours.
If you think it's a poor plan of action, ask me how many emotional support chihuahuas have been in my venues and how many lawsuits we've had about my guys "not buying it."
Hint, it's the same answer.
Correct. I refuse to believe they have any real effectiveness based on the particle size and people basically being dumbasses. And now you’re backsliding on the processIt's not about protecting yourself. I don't know why this is so hard to understand. There are plenty if things you can do. You just refuse to believe that those things work. Lol.
There are more factors than particle size that go into it, but hey what do infectious disease experts/doctors know? You're the expert.Correct. I refuse to believe they have any real effectiveness based on the particle size and people basically being dumbasses. And now you’re backsliding on the process
I guess the hope is that enough people will get the hang of wearing a mask that it can have some effect. I hate masks, but another shutdown would be catastrophic. I don't see how it's not worth at least trying.Correct. I refuse to believe they have any real effectiveness based on the particle size and people basically being dumbasses. And now you’re backsliding on the process
Not really. And it’s in their best interests to put a positive message forth. There are more factors than particle size that go into it, but hey what do infectious disease experts/doctors know? You're the expert.
Sweden is looking good
