Huh is that so. I distinctly remember somebody getting defensive and pissy in replies while crying “but they all are attacking me” to which louder said “yeah... well you make lousy arguments” which we all agreed with.

Sorry truth hurts and facts scare some...the flu has a higher mortality for those under 50 and the Mockingbird Media has convinced a large swath of our citizenry that cloth masks somehow magically stop viruses from spreading...lol

Well it sure is a good thing that we decided to set every American over 50 adrift on an ice floe last year. If we still had any 50+ citizens we might actually have to worry about their health and safety.

Not stop in all cases but does stop in many cases. Anything to slow down this virus is a good thing. Start thinking rationally , will ya ? Be a responsible adult and do the right thing. Wear a mask. It may save you or someone you love.

Please educate yourself...N95 masks (which few people wear) only stop ~95% of particles and I assume I do not have to tell you that cloth masks stop far less particles. Since we want to be rational, please cite the peer-reviewed scientific study which definitively proves wearing cloth masks has any impact on reducing transmission of covid-19 (hint: you can't because it does not exist).

If you want to feel good and virtue signal then, by all means, wear your mask

Watched a lab experiment that was shown on NBC news Last night. . Done in a medical lab. Pretty much proved that masks can help. Should not be too hard to find on Google if you are interested in knowing the truth. But any pct over zero would be positive, right ? I would wear a mask that was 50% effective over not wearing one at all. I hope you would be smart enough to do that also.

What’s more common sense , herd immunity or waiting for some Chinese lab to come up with a vaccine that may or may not keep you from getting the virus just like the flu shots you take every year ? you people are panicking over positive test results while hospitalizations and deaths rates are falling , but don’t blink an eye at influenza A , unless you want to tell us how you wear a mask and gloves during flu season annually, so you can protect the rest of us .

I probably will start wearing masks indefinitely. No 1 priority for me is too protect a elderly parent in Their mid 80’s with signficant dementia and other issues.

No, because what happened with COVID this year has given me new perspective.
Look, cases are spiking in Texas, Florida and other states again. Now many states are closing down soon after they started to open up. I will wear a mask for that reason alone. I want the US to get out of this economic mess as soon as possible.

Positive tests results without spikes in deaths is what you want . You can’t hide from this or your body won’t recognize it . Herd immunity is a natural defense .

I am not sure what those numbers mean, but if that is a percentage of the US population that will die from each then that means that about 330,000 more people will die from COVID than the flu, a pretty large number. In the worst year, the CDC estimates a max of about 61,000 deaths in the US, most years significantly less. The COVID is at 132,101 and climbing steadily, more than twice as many as the max year from the flu and no end in sight for COVID. And yes, I will consider wearing a mask during flu season as I didn't realize the number of flu deaths was that high, however I do get flu shots each year to try to protect myself and others. I only remember having a fairly bad flu once, in 2012, when I felt very bad and missed work for 3 days. While apparently there are people who have little or no COVID symptoms, those who do are usually laid up for 10 to 14 days, so this is more serious for many people than the flu, and there are obviously many more deaths. There is clear evidence that wearing a mask will lower the numbers, so help us all out and wear the mask in public.

Every other country in the world is handling this virus better than us and it isn’t because of herd immunity
