If you went to Engineering School and got your BS and MS and lived in TN. Do you think you should be able to put Engineer on a business card? What about stop signs, speed limits, building codes, seat belts, air bags, ingredient labels on groceries, OSHA regulations to protect us at work, requirements for doctors & engineers to take training and prove they know what they're doing? Should we eliminate all of those things? Are those things left wing and authoritarian?
Stay home is the other side of the coin. Don't be that douche. It's only a matter of person freedom when it only affects you. When some mouth breathing yokel risks my health and the friends and family I come in contact with, then it's no longer person freedom.
It's not that hard to wear a mask. Don't be that douche.
Eww who sneezes IN another person ? That’s definitely a violation of personal space .
COVID killed more in the US than the Korean and Vietnam wars combined and it did that in 3.5 months. Not stupid. What Flu outbreak did that since the 1918 flu pandemic? That's what's stupid. We never halted life for the flu. We were told that it was the death rate that made Covid special enough to crater the economy and society. Now it's a non-factor?
Stupid.
You're talking past tense. I'm talking about a rapidly plummeting death rate. You said:COVID killed more in the US than the Korean and Vietnam wars combined and it did that in 3.5 months. Not stupid. What Flu outbreak did that since the 1918 flu pandemic?
I heard that. Still I know there will be pressure for states to reverse opening back up if the cases rise regardless of the death rate. It’s already happening.
As someone who deals with white papers and scientific studies quite a bit, you can manipulate any study or paper to say what you want.Wrong. Check my recent posts regarding a mask test at a Scientific lab. I saw it on NBC news Friday.
I mean we are seeing positive tests with no symptoms for at least 4 months..... I wish they would give us info on how many are legitimately sick.Read that Tn. Cases we’re going up a couple of days ago online on one of the major news organizations sites. . I did not verify with any of the official government or medical sites.
Someone can visit a store and involuntary have a cough or sneeze. Happens all the time. I want to see the spread stopped because of elderly family. I would rather keep them safe until a vaccination is available. I don’t drink kool-aid but I suggest you refrain from the weed. It’s clouding your judgement.
This is who you're arguing with, doc.How old are you, 13? I'm a board-certified Pediatrician that takes $#!+ all the time on the PF for speaking out against marijuana.
Here's my Ingles trip tonight:
Cashier: mask over mouth, nose exposed. How did it get there? What's touching my groceries as they are scanned?
Bag boy: mask on, bags groceries, then proceeds to lift mask, rub it over his nose, then wipe his sweaty mouth with hands. Next customer, mask pulled back down.
As I exit, older gentleman entering pulls mask from pants pocket, puts it on, adjusts mask, grabs cart.
Nobody coughed, sneezed, or farted.
I know this requires JUST A LITTLE thought, but try. Please... Try.
I heard that. Still I know there will be pressure for states to reverse opening back up if the cases rise regardless of the death rate. It’s already happening.
Those wars killed young men. This kills those in assisted living. Especially deadly when the governor forces infected to spread it in those homesCOVID killed more in the US than the Korean and Vietnam wars combined and it did that in 3.5 months. Not stupid. What Flu outbreak did that since the 1918 flu pandemic?
That’s a question for a virologist. You read mixed reports. Early on it was transfer concerns. How long it lives on surfaces. Wash hands, etc.So what is the amount of viral load needed to infect one? I'm sure it varies by individual with many variables in play.
Just stop already. I've had four mouses break from liking so many of your posts. It's unnatural. Those wars killed young men. This kills those in assisted living. Especially deadly when the governor forces infected to spread it in those homes
How many have died of the flu in the past decade? How many mandatory shutdowns have we had?
Why don’t you give the numbers? What flu outbreaks have done this much in so little time? Those wars killed young men. This kills those in assisted living. Especially deadly when the governor forces infected to spread it in those homes
How many have died of the flu in the past decade? How many mandatory shutdowns have we had?
