Knoxville Restaurants

I thought the food was good, but not sure it lived up to all the hype.

They have been around so long it's crazy to think they just got to Knoxville.

We go maybe once a year in fashion island if other spots are full.

There's this new place, Stock and Barrel, opening up on Market Square in Knoxville that I cannot wait to try. Bourbon, Beer, and Hamburgers, some of my favorite things:

The Stock & Barrel | Burgers and Bourbon Restaurant in Knoxville, TN

Knoxville is getting better beer and more good restaurants; I'm excited about that. If good football comes back, we are set!

Much better concept for Market Square and that spot. Another La Costa/31 Bistro would have closed in eight months.

My mom and sister went to The Cheesecake Factory for lunch here in Knoxville. First they were told a table would be ready in 30 minutes, an hour and fifteen minutes later they got a table. A week later her bank contacts her about a mischarge on her account for $20 dollars more than the actual bill was. We suspect someone if not their server filled in their own tip on the bill after receiving a cash tip.

Both my sisters went a couple days ago and met some other friends for dinner. The service was awful they said and their dinner ended up being 2 and a half hours long. After they ate, my sister flagged down a server from a different section. She proceeded to tell him that he was the only one who seemed to know what was going on and asked if she could get his name to sit in his section next time. He answered by saying he was the district manager and that he was sorry.

Apparently you should really give the CF a few months to get it's business in order before visiting.

That is ridiculous. It is not like this is the first restaurant they have opened.

Cheesecake Factory need to place a call to Chef Gordon Ramsey. He could straighten that place out...

Had Cafe 4 for dinner the other night. Got the BBQ sandwich. It was good, but too sweet for BBQ. Hardly had a smoked taste to it.

They have a kiosk at work. The women (yes, plural) that work there are super *****y.

The wait is always crazy long. Also, wait times are an estimate as you don't really know how long people are going to sit around and eat.

The only really startling thing is the charging over.

I think the perfect, middle of the road, not fantastic, not terrible, won't miss it if it goes out of business, but could still eat there three times in one week and not be disgusted, is Cheddars.

Just ate at Golden Garden on Western Ave. I've never been disappointed with anything on their variety filled menu. We had the hot and sour soup for the first time. Highly recommend it. Definitely our favorite Chinese restaurants in town.

My wife and I just moved into a house right beside it on John May Dr. We have been wanting to check it out. Good to hear its high quality. We've tried out La Fiesta next door to it and its really good. No La Parilla, but still really good.

Has anyone had Pizza Inn on Clinton Highway? It's always packed out and I know it's buffet style, is it any good?
