Kristi is certainly attractive, which always counts for something in politics, and she has executive experience. But, she doesn’t really “move the needle” for the R ticket. She doesn’t bring a state with a large block of electoral votes, she doesn’t bring a racial demographic, and she dilutes her appeal to many women voters based on her abortion views or her affair…now puppy killing.

I don’t see her having any future as a VP candidate, maybe Secretary of the Interior or of Agriculture.

I’d reckon that her handlers had her put it out there in order to gauge if she stands a chance as a VP candidate. She wasn’t going to be able to hide it and if it surfaced in the middle of the 2024 stretch run it would be a disaster. She might garner enough support to keep on being the governor or to take a Trump cabinet job.
