Kyle Prater rumors....

It will probably be Florida, USC, or Notre Dame. I think he sticks with the Trojans but his father did contact the UF staff once the PC news broke. Ronald Powell did a great job of selling UF to recruits this past week.

pay site...no link...very, very reliable source...tos mod...

fair enough. So with visits to ND, USC, & ILL, that would only leave two more. One, surely being Florida since poppa just rang ole' Urban and I would think Oklahoma, but if you say Tennessee, that works for me!

Dude, why do you hang out here and inform us of UF's recruiting business? Just a little inside tip...for free...We don't give a damn for the Gators, and we couldn't care less who was recruiting for you guys!!! OK? Go find your own board. If you need some help, just Google Search "Swamp Gas" or something. Buh-Bye... :salute:

Brice said to watch out of Prater to visit. He just doesn't throw that stuff out there like some mods on Rivals. There is something going on and I would say UT stands a better shot than FL IMO. He commited to USC remember. Kiffin offense is basically the same thing. This guy wants to go to the NFL and he has a great shot at doing just that. Would you want to get coached by Kippy Brown or FL's reciever coach? Do they even have one?

Make no mistake UT is in this....

I'd love to say he would come here, stick to USC, or go to OU or ND to keep him out of our hair, but based on current events I'm thinking he'll end up a Gator just because every 5-star prospect is ending up there lately.

If he comes this week it is big.... I think he could still be a EE. Kiffin, Coach O, and Monte where in San Antone and Brice said they where meeting with as many as four different families. I am sure Prater was one of those after hearing about this news. He could be in Orange very soon. I think if he does we need to thank Kippy Brown. His resume speaks pretty damn loud to these type recievers....

Just to let everyone know, Prater is most likely headed to Florida. Why u may ask? Well his father contacted Urban Meyer day before AA game and had a very lengthy convo with UM. I know many of u will want a link, but its' 3 am and if u want a link just go to google and type in Kyle Prater's father contacts urban meyer and you'll have ur link. As much as I'd like him to come here, it's not going to happen. Florida recruiting class will continue to grow.

Go Vols!!!

Ehhem.
There are two schools that Prater said he is interested in to perhaps take USC’s place.
“Right now I’m thinking about taking a visit to Tennessee perhaps in the near future,” Prater said. “Illinois is the other school that I’m interested in.”

Well...his comments were made before Kippy Brown arrived.
I think getting Bissacia in here and Kiffin's pitch of "Hey look...you'll be coached by an ALL-NFL offensive staff" would tend carry more weight than "we'll yeah your position coach doesn't have any real WR coaching experience, but he's a smart guy and a damn good recruiter."

Kippy and Bisaccia represent major upgrades and it should start paying dividends right away. That's why I expect there to be a big surprise or two, come NSD.

If I were an Animation student hoping to eventually land a job at Disney, then I'd be ecstatic about be trained by former Disney artists in college. Not only do they know intimately what Disney expects and is looking for, but they have inside connections. You impress them, you just may have yourself a job at Disney when you graduate. Same thing goes here. These guys have connections to NFL teams that other teams simply do not have...thus the old cliche, "It's not necessarily WHAT you know, but WHO you know."

I gotta disagree. In football, it's all what you do, not at all who you know.

I'm good with the WRs we have committed.

I wouldnt want Prater over the guys we closing in on (Robey, Rodgers, Bennett, Cullen, Green etc)

We have out Prater already, Matt Milton.

The fact is, if Kyle Prater (the #1 WR and #2 over player) wants to commit, you make room for him. kid has AJ Green/ Julio Jones type of potential.

Scout article mentioned Illinois as well because of Corey Cooper. They are very close from everything I have read. But he went to USC because he wants to play in the NFL and thought that would give him the best shot. I think UT is next in line and I believe his father may be in our corner with the Fulton angle playing in there...

This is a great Sunday morning guys....

Would be nice to have him but Ambles had a better game than Prater yesterday and Dixon cover him like stink on :censored: so whether he comes to UT or goes somewhere else, Im happy. We still have more recruits coming in and Im stoked to see what our staff does with the talent we have comin in. I still believe CUM will bail on Fla next year so they better enjoy this "golden" class while they can!! Our D is going to be stacked and I bet anything Monte will figure out covering the spread and wildcat offenses!

Not to rain in this parade but I think we have a WINNER with Markeith Ambles. Seems to me he knew how to get open and catch the tough passes more than Prater did.
