Kyle Rittenhouse - The Truth in 11 Minutes

What what? Legal scholar?

Come on.

If he's a legal scholar then I'm the Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court.
Turley has been around forever..I used to remember seeing him on the cable shows as a law expert...NW JD and was the youngest professor to hold a chair at GW. Jonathan Turley - Wikipedia

Jonathan Turley

Jonathan Turley is a nationally recognized legal scholar who has written extensively in areas ranging from constitutional law to legal theory to tort law. After a stint at Tulane Law School, Professor Turley joined the GW Law faculty in 1990, and in 1998, became the youngest chaired professor in the school’s history.

I assumed so but if it relates to this MSNBC issue remember that:

1) We first heard itt that the reporter was an employee of MSNBC.
2) We then learned that his employment status is not clear, at all.
3) We then learned that there are statements that he is a free lance journalist who does some reporting for NBC.
4) We then learned that he claimed he had been ordered by someone at either MSNBC or NBC to follow the jurors.
5) We then learned that both networks say they are looking into it and will cooperate with any investigation.

Seems like it was wrong for some in the right wing media to gleefully, but incorrectly, report that the reporter was from MSNBC. But that's about all we know for sure right now. It will be investigated.

So I don't think I'm an idiot for making these rather important distinctions, though I know it at least temporarily robs the Fox echo chamber and the other media hating folks here of a talking point and that maybe its not simply as clear cut as first reported.

Good grief. So it’s right wing media’s fault that you stuck your foot in your mouth calling out another poster when you didn’t have a clue yourself ? You should be ashamed and embarrassed to have typed that garbage. Geez man, have a little dignity.

If that had been a real insurrection with angry people that were armed, they could have wiped out half of Congress that day. It was a setup. Most of those people just wanted to be heard and outside of a handful of people they weren’t violent.

We'll never know how many FBI agents were in that crowd.....even leading the crowd on.

You’re right about that. If it were an actual insurrection as the media claims and was preplanned, they would’ve been armed.

That’s not what happened. Was it a riot? Sure. Was it an attempt to overthrow our government as suggested? No

Aw c'mon man... AOC was several buildings away cowering under a desk and caught PTSD. I am sure it was traumatizing.

It’s odd you only apply this absurd logic of “who would go there anyway” to one side. The people there rioting, well clearly that’s fine. But the kid? He’s the real problem here.

But once again, the issue wasn’t him trying to enforce the law.

The only people who we know for a fact were behaving as actual vigilantes are the people he shot.

I'm not applying anything to one side. The conversation is about Kyle, you chose to single out my comment and now want to redirect.

Hell I'm not saying he didn't defend himself but to pretend that moment happened in a vacuum where he wasn't AT A RIOT WITH A LOADED AR15 is ridiculous.

All I've really seen is that a dude who was in one of these uber-patriot groups and was also an FBI informant was there. Haven't seen anything about actual agents ginning up the crowd.

Videos could be floating around somewhere .... it's been almost a year now.
Media probably has taken them down where they don't want them to be public material.

Seems as if he needed that AR15. He would have been dead without it. Everyone he shot had a violent criminal past and was attacking him.
